I been suggesting a Palpatine head injury and amnesia story for a few months. Althought I was hoping for a much earlier head injury like sometime in the early clone wars. Or movie 2. but this idea is interesting to. Im glad to see I'm not the only one wanting Palpatine to be hit on the head very very hard. LMAO.
lmao this is great, he "accidentally" kills all the Jedi one day when he picks up one of the Padawans lightsabers to look at it, he then swings it around and starts killing everyone, Yoda, Windu, Obi Wan, Anakin, Plot Koon, nobody is a match for Darth Darthius!!
The idea: What would happen if Anakin suffered a head injury during the mission to rescue Palpatine and began to forget new information. Let me explain: Anakin has nightmares about Padme's death, but forgets about them. Palpatine appoints Anakin as his representative, but Anakin forgets about this too. Even when Palpatine admits that he is the lord of the Sith, Anakin also forgot about it.
Realistically this is what anyone would have done after a contemplation. But then again realistically, Obi-Wan would have went to Mandalore instead of Ahsoka.

Possible cool crack-if territory idea: What if Anakin was a philosophy major? In this timeline, all Jedi were encouraged to seek out the humanities as subjects of study, and Obi-Wan, being the perfect Jedi type encourages his troubled, death stick addled apprentice into studying philosophy as a way to help him fome off the drugs? He could notice the flaws in the Jedi, the Republic, even the chancellor that others maybe haven't. To further his philosophical studies, he asks Yoda for the best mind altering substances maybe? Maybe it gives him a vision.
Here's an unhinged thought that popped into my head. What if everything... the occupation of naboo, the clone wars, the invasion of coruscant, palpatine's revelation that he was a sith lord, the jedi council's resistance to making anakin a master... Was all staged as part of an elaborate set up for a surprise birthday party, for Anakin's 23rd birthday ?
I suppose the conclusion to this, since Palpatine is getting overconfident according to the notes, is him dying trying to essence transfer to Anakin just like in the other what if video. Master Yoda's infamy grows. Also, What If Arrakis exists in the Star Wars Universe? Anakin is born in that planet and Shmi is secretly a Bene Gesserit.

@@starwarsquillI saw that one, great video, in my recommendation Palpatine is much more like Volorum, an incompetent idiot that can't do anything right, but somehow worse, this happens because Palpatine was dropped on his head as a child, his master Plageus(?) only took him as an apprentice because he was desperate for an apprentice, and besides, when he figures out all the force stuff he's gonna essence transfer into Palpatines younger and stronger body, in this timeline each and every attempt by Palpatines to manipulate or control things backfires completely and everyone just thinks he's weird, but he's somehow elected as Chancellor regardless
im gonna be honest with you here. I hated this. I hated everything about this. it was awful. Ok now that I got that out there. Damn this turned so dark. This was really good. i loved how this shifted and I didn't see it coming and the whole time after Palpatine took over. I was just screaming in my mind no, No, NO, NOOO! I applauded you on this story. I may have hated how it ended but that doesn't mean I dint love this story. You writing is getting much more refined. I hope that you keep at this, I cant wait to see what you come up with next. I would love to see what if Palpatine suffered a head injury and forgot he was a Sith Lord? could make for some crazy antics. would he be able to still hide his darkside presents? Would the Jedi notice anything? so many questions. Stupid but funny story idea. What if when Excuting Order 66 Palpatine bit his tongue after the first 6. so the Clones heard Excute Order 6. I believe this order in accepted lore makes the clones discarded there comlinks.
What if, When Yoda force pushed Palpatine into his chair, that he hit his head a bit too hard and forgot who he was?
Yoda would get Palpatine to transfer all his credits to him after convincing Palpatine he’s a Jedi.

In the Clone Wars season 7, after 66 the Clones refer to him as Darth Sidious. Jesse calls him that while facing Rex and Ahsoka.
9 minutes and 15 seconds into Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 12 (Victory and Death) to be exact.
I always figured it being some type of programming once Order 66 activated that the clones called him Lord Sidious instead of Chancellor or sir.
