The world is a better place when Intents is back on the Tube 😊
Wow! This exceeded my expectations.
Cannot express how happy to see you guys back again.
Thanks for the effort it clearly has taken to put this together.
I look forward to seeing more.
I just Googled... Wow wild stuff. You've gone from Intents to Intense.
Oh damn, Ryan it is REALLY heavy stuff hey? I'll never be the same man.
Your voice is a gift to good to be unused. Keep your standing without the swearing and keep it very professional even if your working on carsl. I know about this I have always worked in this area. Undoubtedly why you have been so successful with viewers is your voice. Keep it up you have a rare talent. You never know where it will lead you!
Thanks both for the kind comment, and the advice :) It is very much valued
Absolutely stooningly made mate. So nice to see you back here
I first saw these carriages back in 2010, they weren't vandalised, it looked like they'd only recently been abandoned. There was still a barbecue outside and a lean to shelter. The smaller carriage was locked up with other random camping gear inside.
Yes I remember the lean to, it was partly collapsed by the time I visited in 2015. I've been there once every couple of years since and it's since covid that the vandalism got out of control
Tried to camp near that carriage, got creeped out and found another spot down the track... looking forward to your ep mate!
Yep I'm not surprised, it's only getting creepier haha
@@Alex.G this episode was such top tier filming, editing and storytelling in general - most people don’t realise what goes into putting something like this together, great work and something to be really proud of!!
Don’t you play with my heart, like this.
Thanks Alex and Beau. Missed you guys on UA-cam. Great video - enjoyed it. Got pretty deep. Amazing quality production 👌
Just wow Alex......we felt the worst energy from NN, we did know of the worst abuse and even how the priest that was buried there got removed ( Im pretty sure you know who that is ) still good on you and Beau for going down such a massive rabbit hole only the brave and few can stomach :( I still would love to go and see the carriage after knowing what happened-and are you bringing out a part 2 ?
Thanks for the comment, I didn't hear about the priest being removed actually! So many secrets....on the whole I'm not sure what to think about the place. Pre 1900 it seems like their intentions were good, but I don't know...that's another cavern in the rabbit hole that could take a long time to reveal. I'd do a part two if I can get some more leads, I've been given a few ideas to perhaps explore deeper so I'll be doing some poking around!
Dude, you haven't lost it at all (in the time since the last video)..... in fact..... you've gotten better!!!!! This was such a great watch and I loved seeing you guys back on my screen again 🙂 I hope it doesn't take too long before you publish another video..... you know I'll be here for it!!! Cheers Don (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)
Thanks Don! Good to see your name pop up as always. I'll try and do one or two of these a year I think 🙂
Great to see you back mate. You’ve certainly improved on the art of storytelling and cinematography. You told this story well even with its sad past.
Well done and hope to see more.
Welcome back! The outfit choices were superb 👌🏻
Order is restored❤❤❤
Especially with you in the comments 😁
2 absolute legends ❤
An absolute pleasure to watch Alex, totally different to what we are used to from you guys but it is goooood! Keep on making them and i will keep on watching them. Cheers guys!
Welcome back Alex. Awesome doco. Looking forward to more from u guys :)
There is a film called Oranges and Sunshine that deals with what went on at New Norcia as well as the cover up of the govts of the time taking children from britain to Australia, Canada etc. u may find it interesting.
Yeah I've come across the trailer for that film and it's definitely on my watch list. I never knew prior to this that the theft of children extended beyond aboriginal people. It's worth a whole documentary on its own!
G'day Alex,
Just reading through the comments. Its all been said. But let me just add my thoughts.
So great to have you back on the tube. Your attention to detail is what i love about your work. If i only see one video a year, I know it will be the best video i will see that year. Although this video held some dark secrets, you didn't hide them. Exposing the truth will sometimes, always hurt someone. But it needs to be told. Let me finish by congratulating you and Beau on a great job. I will await your next installment with great anticipation...
Cheers Mark... 12:20
Thanks Mark I appreciate your comment 🙂 to get two a year would be great! Maybe I'll aim for a summer release and a winter release...
Wow mate!! You have always been a great story teller, even if it was something like a how to video. You have taken it to a new level, can’t wait for more!!
Thank you to all who had their input into this video. It was a so well researched, produced and edited. You should all be proud of yourselves. Great work 😊
Thoroughly enjoyed this vid ,BUT .... , it's not a scooter adventure. Nice to see you again and I'm eagerly awaiting for more.❤❤❤
Church or cult or both... very sad... awesome work as always Alex.
A very well done documentary. My uncle was at new norcia, never talks about it. But you can only guess with all the stories. Heartbreaking
Thank you, yes totally heartbreaking. I'm not surprised he never talks about it, talking helps for some, but for others it just dredges it up
Love the doco direction. Cant wait for more.
I've watched a heap of your previous stuff and I hope you keep doing more like this. Follow the stories that seem good for you, bring your mates and keep telling them honestly, you can't go wrong. I will be thinking about this story for days.
That was great congrats & welcome back
Thanks Stuart! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Welcome back. What a video!❤
Thank you! 😄
Brilliant video mate. Good to see you back.
You should check out the Clackline Post office, pretty sure its another one of the carriages!
Came for the patrol build... stayed for the doco. Good stuff Alex!
Two wildly different things there, I'm impressed!
Wow, awesome story and loved the editing, you fit a lot into a compact package, well done and thanks! 👍
Awesome video mate, fucking loved it, was just talking about these with a mate about 6 months ago, he’s been trying to find out from locals for years. But you nailed it, well done.
Definatly do more videos like this.. really enjoyed this
Thank you! Will do!
Good to see you're back 👌
Love it 👍🏻
Welcome back!
Such stunning carriages attached to such grim history. Sad to see them rotting away there by the ocean! The effort in this is incredible mate. Well done.
Great video, sad past and you paid respect to it so well
Thanks so much, yes a very sad and touchy subject, I'm glad I came across respectfully, it's a tough one to navigate!
Love to see The Emu War of 1932 through the lens of Intense Productions.
Been hanging for this premier. Loved this so much, great episode!!
So stoked you enjoyed it, thanks for watching 😁
Thought you might try pull the carriage out with the GU haha!
Great video Alex, I was engrossed from start to finish! The videography and storytelling is out of this world, and it's awesome to see some familiar faces again. Can't wait to see more of what you decide to create, fingers crossed for Expedition Scoot V2!
Good to see you back long time fan
Thanks for returning to watch after my long absence :)
This is mint mate. Good stuff!
So good to see you post again Alex! That was a great production. Cheers mate
Brilliant. Great to see you back
So glad you’re back!
That was insane storey telling these are awesome
This is an incredible video. Glad to see you're back
- the autist formerly known as eeyore4x4
Really looking forward to this!
Thank you for this. Glad to see you back, always loved your work!
Great work!
Sorry that first seemed like researching what could have been a whimsical story about carriages on the beach ended up being a dark story for you to tell. Being 50y/o and in Perth most of my life made me flinch when you mentioned New Norcia! If you're interested in some local history before New Norcia then I recommend George Fletcher Moore - diary of ten years eventful life... JR Gribble - Dark deeds in a sunny land
It's all part of the journey and while it hit pretty heavy, I'm glad to know the truth. My grandfather had a similar reaction, he used to see the kids being used as slave labour carting bricks and mortar down by the swan river when he was a child. Thanks for the reading recommendations too!
Great work Alex, awesome mate.
Good to see you back at it mate!
❤ it’s a real treat. Way to go Alex.
Good to see you again! You've upped your editing game m8, well done and great video
Bloody loved this lads awesome work
Hi Alex! Its good to have you back! The video turned out totally different from what I expected. You handled that terrible topic with excellence. Thanks from Germany.
Bloody good video Alex 👍
That was a wild ride - welcome back, Alex!
Well researched and put together.
Great story guys. Love it
Great work, love the doco style of video. 👍
This was fantastic! Really loved it. Are you taking documentary requests?
Thanks Nathan! Absolutely taking requests, I plan to ask the community for leads on new stories once the views on this one slow off and add them to my 'story board'
Brilliant mate
You told me there would be a new format....I love it!!!!!!
Very nice. Told well. Filmed beautifully. Top work alex
Welcome back and just wanted to saw awesome vid
Awesome mate, great clip indeed. Very interesting and thanks for sharing bud 🤜🤛
Cheers Grant, thanks for following along 🙂
Excellent research, thanks.
Thanks mate 🙂
So good to see your back. Love the new style that you have started. Missed your video style. Can’t wait for another one.
Thank you! Looking forward to getting into the next topic!
That was awesome Alex and Beau thank you so much for this, definitely miss the Intents content.
Thanks for watching Paul
Good to hear and see you gain Alex & co.
Its great to see you guys back!
Ive been to new norcia once, got a real bad vibe from the hotel there! Just a real eary feeling like a real heaviness over me .
Looking forward to seeing more from you guys 👍
Great video mate, you need to do more of this 😉
G'day Paul, hope you're well mate! Although it was a lengthy process, I loved making this. I've been excited to get it out to the world so I can start on the next one 😁
@@Alex.G I am thanks mate, hope you are too. I have filmed those carriages myself and actually asked in the video if anybody knew how they got there. Good things take time mate, I think you’ve found your niche, can’t wait for the next one 👍
Great stuff guys answered a few questions for many
Awesome video Alex, horrific history surrounding it all but the video was well paced and informative had me hooked the whole way through.
Thanks mate and happy birthday! I hope this was the gift you wished for 😆
I like the new style. I hope the next upload isn't quite so dark in places though.
I hope the same. It sure did rip the rug out from under me! But wherever the next one leads us I'll be sure to tell it exactly as it unfolds
Wonderful video. Sad but enlightening and thought provoking. Beautifully shot. Well done Alex, perhaps you should call your channel Intense.
Ahhhaha sick! Congratulations brother!
This is an incredible video mate, love your work. New Norcia is such a bizarre place, a mate of mine has stayed there with the monks a few times in the last few years. Horrific history.
Thanks Paul that means a lot mate. A very interesting place and a lot to be learned about religion and people, even with the now glaringly obvious dark patch of history
@@Alex.G no doubt! Looking forward to what piques your curiosity and gets your creativity going next!
So glad i stayed subscribed
Loved the v[deo, might have a source that can shed more light on the story, not sure but will try and see. Glad to aee you back making great content.
Thanks Marc, that means a lot coming from the history buff himself 🙂email me on alex@intenseproductions.com.au if you find anything. I'll reach out at sometime regardless and pick your brain for some more adventures like this I might be able to chase.
So freaking keen!!
I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be worth the looooooong wait :) Wish I could watch when it premieres but we will be off in the Manjmup area.
Great video. I have read a bit into the horrific events that occurred at Bindoon & Tardun & did not realise that New Norcia was also heavily implicated in this. I have been to what is now called Bindoon Agricultural college. The road into the place creeped me out. I intend visiting New Norcia & Tardun in the near future. Some of those Christian brothers were evil bastards, not to mention the people that covered it up.
Yeah some of the worst of what I read came out of Tardun and Bindoon. The problem is that they moved them around. If a brother was found to have perpetrated this abuse, they usually told them to say a prayer and be forgiven. If it didn't stop they just moved them elsewhere and they just carried on their ways with a fresh set of victims
Not what I was expecting from you guys but interesting none the less. Are you guys back?
Yep we are back! Not in the same capacity as the old times, maybe just a couple of videos a year. It won't be 4wd and camping videos either, much more of this style
Love the new style
Thanks mate!
Holy shit you put together a bloody good vid .👍👍👍
Thanks for watching! :)
Yes! Can't wait.
Is there going to be a part 2? Welcome back🎉
A part two wasn't on the cards, but if posting this video brings forth any new leads I'll absolutely see where it goes!
He back!!!!! 🎉
Hey mate good to see you again. How long you’ve been back? I went past couple of months ago on those carriages and wonder how it ended up there. Great stuff! Keep them coming.
I've been back about 3 hours 😆 since this video went live. But I've been picking away at the video for about 18 months
“Intents Aus History” 🤯
Yt has missed you guys,, another scooter challenge would have been less depressing..
Awesome, but please tell me there is further to this story?
You have put yourself out there again and that is a big move
Thank you and welcome back
Thanks for joining the ride 🙂 I think that was the main goal of this for me, to get back on the horse and just make something! I don't have a part 2 in the works, all my leads are dried up. But another purpose to putting it out there is to see if another story finds its way into my hands. If anyone comes forward with more information after seeing this, I'd follow the thread for sure
My first youtube subscription back again.
Thanks for returning all these years later 😁
I hope the break from UA-cam was good. Did you find Jesus? 😂 Looking forward to watching your new vid 👍🏾
🤣 I've found a lot of things on my break that's for sure! Not quite found jesus yet, but some people in this video did, a long long time ago
wow
decided to come back to the world of YT.. this is something different
I did! I was itching to tell some great stories
Yes!! 🎉😮
do a doc on new norcia
