Head phone jack on a carburetor? Honda XL250 Carburetor Cleaning and update

The weather has been all over the place in Washington so working on the bike has been hard. Here is cleaning the carburetor on my 1972 Honda xl250.
My camera died while rebuilding the carb, so here is what I got.
Next video will be solving the no spark issue

when you check for spark
make sure the plug to your key is unplugged sounds odd but it will work

Does it work that way without a battery? I’ve found that I can’t get a spark without the key in and on.

it actually grounds the coil and it doesn't run

Question you might be able to answer. I've torn down my 250s carb 3 times now and can't solve this puzzle.
Bike starts right up, idles great. When I "accelerate" there is extreme bogging and jump with the fuel.
Bike was timed and I am confident that is not a factor. My thought was the main jet was clogged, but I have cleaned it so many times I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing?
Any ideas are appreciated. Fresh rebuild kit X2s now
