Yeah..without a doubt Foyet wasn't even a human being anymore...he was a true monster through and though. I just finished watching this ep. Was very impactful and can be a scary fact we may have actual monsters out there...and we just dont know it or are oblivous of the fact
Nope the most satisfying moment of Criminal Minds is when Derek Morgan puts his former surrogate dad and child molester Carl Buford in prison and then the prisoners found out who he was and what he did to him by Dereks news interview in the later episode and they killed him.
I imagine from that beating a decent bit of his head was deformed so yea and I suppose it was framed to show hotch more than anything and see his built up rage and emotion
Partially too graphic, partially a narrative choice imo. The main point of the scene was to show Hotch's rage at Foyet completely overpowering his will to be a "by the books" FBI agent, and all the flashbacks of all the horrible shit Foyet did that Hotch was witness to timed with all his blows was a powerful statement.
They all are chickenshit when THEY have the prospect of death lingering over them. When USSR had executions, the moment it was announced that killer will get shot (as in USSR there was no parole), was the moment they went to be the most pathetic begging cunts in the existance.
Being a cop, FBI agent,or a rock star doesn't mean you're not a human being .. Eddie Van Halen was one of the first to remind people of that. I'll always miss him for that reason alone. And oh yeah, he's the reason I stopped playing the guitar. I felt embarrassed watching him. I knew I would never compare, and we're a competitive species. And Hotch is the only television character I have ever truly idolized in real life. He represented everything I was supposed to become and never did.
@@nathankrush3289 I feel you and I really like Van Halen, I know I'm supposed to tell you that you shouldn't have dumped the guitar and you shouldn't feel that way but meh. That's how you feel man and I won't help by judging you. I really hope you find happiness
Really wish they showed his face after wards other than that this scene is amazing. How he switches from punching to slamming his head into the floor gaaah so good.
Lets compare Derek and Hotch for a second... Derek would be the one to beat someone senseless...but he is a big teddy bear a bit... Hotch is the one you would think he would never do this...but he did... Both have a valid reason to beat there abuser/enemy to death....Jesus why am i looking into this so much?
Yup. He thought that by saying the words “I surrender”, as an FBI agent hotch would arrest him and take him into custody. Only for him to have an escape plan and torment him for months and years stalking his son??? Uh yeah right. Got to go. I wish he had suffered more but I’m glad hotch beat the life out of him.
Actually, that was pretty brutal as is. Think about the fact that Derek knew from just a look that Foyet was dead. He didnt have to check or anything. Now think about how fucked up Foyet's head had to be
Let's not forget that Morgan took one single look at Foyet's corpse for a just a couple of seconds before restraining Hotch and knew from that one single glance that Foyet was dead
It felt so good watching Hotch finally give that monster what he deserved

Dee Jay what episode?
@@thefacegood9909 I wanna say carl Buford episode was season 2. Late season 2
Absolutely. Episode 100. This was incredibly intense the first time. Movie quality.
@@thefacegood9909 season 2 episode 12 and season 8 episode 18
My heart shattered when Hotch started crying
I wanted to jump in the TV and give Hotch a hand.
Me too bro 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Go Hotch! My hero!!
😂 I pictured myself kneeling with hotch getting some licks in
I would've grabbed him from behind and let hotch beat him senseless
I wonder why they didn't show Reaper's face while Hotch was smashing it unless they felt it would be too graphic.
I imagine from that beating a decent bit of his head was deformed so yea and I suppose it was framed to show hotch more than anything and see his built up rage and emotion
With how they were in the beginning episode if you saw there faces you can probably guess why the didn’t show it.

@@falx94 very powerful

“Ok, I surrender.” I honestly think Hotch may have arrested him up until then. The chickenshit coward though it would save him.

This show is so good I can’t stop watching it
Maybe because there has never been another one like it.
Foyet definitely deserved it but it makes you think an FBI agent can have just as much rage as a psychopath. Given the circumstances
I've thought of this too, in season 4 episode 17, the same man had said, "I think that deep down we're all capable of unspeakable things"
Shoot, given the right circumstances, just about anyone is capable of anything, with the right push.

The look on Hotch's face scared the living shit out of me
Pure unfiltered rage
Feels good watching Hotch do that....i rewinded it so many time
looks like ponyboy didnt stay gold...
I was sitting there knowing Hotch was going to win because he has plot armor
Still satisfying nonetheless

Hotch was the Unit Chief and Morgan was his tactical leader.

Hotch didn't stop... until he WAS stopped... by Morgan.
Daaaaammnn Hotch
Best but saddest sence.. besides the loss of Gideon, Strauss, Prentiss, loosing Haley was just heartbreaking
1:58 *NICE!!!* 😈😈😈😈😈
He is not going to be arrested this time, he will escape again, and kill again. He had to die.

Wonder if Hotch took anger management classes after this.... but he got the payback he deserved.
Shou Tucker should've gotten twice as many punches as the Reaper got
1:46 Hotch: You talk too much
Happy birthday c thomas as george foyet from italian boy live in rome and I m fan of criminal minds
I would’ve done worse
I would have chopped his balls off
Gotta keep in mind that it was blind rage and his son was in the house.

Straight up just beat him to death.
