3 years later I'll chime in with some first hand experience. The mech unit in trans and/or clutches can fail. The mech replacement can run you ~$4500. Fuel injector failure can be a big time expense as well, injectors being about $500 each and 28 hrs labor to remove the engine and do the job so there is another ~$5600 if you do only one injector. Do all 8 while you're in there and you're looking at 10k. Absurd. Valve springs, air suspension failures, active engine mount failures, etc. Audi = Actual Use Decimates Income on these if you get caught outside of warranty with one of these. I'll never go near a 4.0T again... unless roasting marshmellows over one that is on fire. ;-)

Thanks Darin!
like the older subaru stis in the usdm market. they did the same exact thing.
Don’t 2.0T’s have a screen in the cam bridge ? I always find those torn
Yes, the Gen 1 EA888 motors did
@@034motorsportthe Gen2 has it as well. Ask me how I know 🥲
Thats is 😂 sign me up
Why when I remove the oil cap.. the engine struggling n sounds like it's sucking air?
Because it’s a closed system and you are letting in outside air into the system.
@javadshadzi4824 so there's some videos on UA-cam demonstrating that.. then they say issue was fixed by changing some vacuum line
@@gooden000 you should never remove the oil cap while the engine is running.
@@javadshadzi4824yikes...that bad?
