I am Japanese, and I think this breakfast is too simple for most of us. There is nothing wrong with eating rice, pickles and miso soup, but there is usually some kind of protein or vegetables added to it.

Ok, in Italy bread and jam/marmelade are rather common, especially for those who pick a healtier breakfast. Kids usually have a more stereotipically "American" breakfast consisting in a bowl of milk with cereals, but sometimes packaged snacks (like the ones from "Kinder e Ferrero" or "Mulino bianco") are a part of breakfasts as well. Sure, it's not the healtier choice. "Milk-soup" was one of the most popular Italian breakfasts you could see in past times. It consisted in just a bowl of milk with slices of bread (usually, left-over bread from the previous day) sunken in it. Sometimes, when I feel like I want milk for breakfast, I pick a milk-soup. Even today it's my grandmother's first choice in the morning. Bread can be substituted by "fette biscottate". Of course, coffee is an important part of a traditional Italian morning routine. It must be espresso, prepared in a moka pot. When you have your breakfast in a bar (in Italy, cafes are usually called bars, even though they might not serve alcohol) you can choose between the "colazione al banco" or "da tavolo". The former has you drink your beverage (a coffee, a cappuccino, a cioccolata calda etc.) while standing next to the counter bar. For the latter, you can take a seat at one table, but sometimes you'd need to pay a little bit more for it. It's the so-called "coperto". A pastry usually accompanies the beverage: the most common pastry is the "cornetto", which is different from the French croissant, and in Northern Italy is also called "brioche". Cappuccino is a breakfast-only beverage. It's not forbidden to have it later in the day, but Italians drink it in the morning. Coffe is not meant to be served next to meals, but you can have one before or (mostly) after your meal. Italian "cioccolata calda" is not like common hot chocolate, since it's way thicker and less milky. "Barley coffee" (caffè d'orzo) is a caffeine-free alternative to coffee. It's a tipically Italian beverage you can drink both "lungo" (in a mug) or "espresso" (in a small espresso cup, like a regular coffee). Ok, that's how Italians enjoy their breakfast.
I think they took a traditional breakfast, as that's what my grandma and mom used to eat for breakfast. As for now, italians almost always eat milk or coffee and cornflakes/cereals, a cornetto or cookies! In certain regions savoury breakfast (meat, salumi, bread) most often preferred.

Yeah, if someone in Germany eats sausage or ham for breakfast, it comes in thin slices….and the eggs are mostly scrambled or fried - sunny side up. Most people spread butter on their bread or breadrolls and don’t eat them plain. Many germans don‘t like a hearty breakfast and prefer jam, honey or nutella instead.

Bruh u don't gotta b rich to eat this 🤦🏻♂️ nor have that much time on ur hand 🤦🏻♂️
Apparently eggs bacon and pancakes are considered rich people food
No.. not really.
Since when pancakes and sausages became rich food?
Maybe in the us but in other countries the middle class exists
Rest of the countries that aren't here doesn't eat breakfast
It seems

@@mickeyscoming1756 no one asked but it's ok
I’m Mexican and I’m 100% sure nobody eat this as breakfast, a tradicional dish for breakfast could be Chilaquiles with eggs and coffee.
Very nice
La verdad, si
For real my sister does it every Sunday
Ahuevo que si
Para mi el video fue muy acertado. Comemos huevos, frijoles, tortilla y salsa en la presentación que sea.

That's not Sambar. Sambar is like a red soup containing vegetables.
Also that Indian breakfast is South Indian breakfast.
1:32 that’s the saddest amount of milk I’ve ever seen.
It's drying D:
Lmao
Wait that’s illegal
Hhhh True but those type of cereal dont need à lot of milk

Real title: *what Americans think the world eats for breakfast*
i feel like this video is only accurate for 3 countries
Ikr. In the UK we eat cereal. Nobody can be bothered cooking in the morning.
Because it probably is only accurate for 3 countries
I agree,Brazilians usualy take coffe and bread with buter or a type of biscuit
Ikr I’m Mexican and ummm we don’t really eat salsa for breakfast
Raul Lima yes we do but not all the time like we eat cereal most of the time but I agree it’s pretty accurate
can i just say: Dosa looked like a Tortilla, i have no idea what the products titled Sambar and Chutney were. and in general it was horrible plating

@@porrnesianparrrapioes9150 ?
@@arundathisubramanian9856 so what??
@@certifiedhook8703 it's basically the equivalent of a grey pancake, a raw beaten egg and vegan soy bacon. A pallid and inauthentic representation. Simply that's English. That kind of chutney is not actually found here in India. Here chutney is a fresh uncooked and spicy affair. Not a sugary jam(that a Pachidi and is usually not a breakfast item). It's stuff like this.
So basically it's just a person who's done negative research.
In Russia for breakfast we have vodka

Ok Japan is definitely underrepresented no way the miso soup is literally just liquid soup there is usually tofu and wakame seaweed in it💀 we also have nattou which is a sticky fermented beans which tastes pretty amazing and sometimes fish like salmon or a yellow tail fish. Pretty shocked to see that as a Japanese breakfast😅
Foreigners usually think nattou tastes horrible tho 🤣

Buzfeed : TORTILLA
I know right like I actually don't eat that I eat pan dulce con cafe
In Mexico we do eat tortillas in our breakfast but a different kind of tortillas that have a softer texture and different flavor we usually have ham and egg tacos or chorizo and bean or egg these are breakfast tacos but we do have things like chilaquiles, huevos divorciados, etc.
Why do we hablamos in Espanglish?
Yo tampoco se porque hablamos en inglés JAJAJAJAJA
@Jaden Davison they are wonderful :D
How can they forget BAKED BEANS FOR UNITED KINGDOM
And black pudding
+Scott Murray and hash browns
And the bacon was not British bacon
And no milk in the tea
That's what I was going to comment on - proper breakfast ALWAYS includes beans.
Okay, about Brazil breakfast:
I agree with the toast, cold cuts and papaya as it is a typical fruit, however, for me, the classic Brazilian breakfast is:
Bread with butter on the plate
Coffee with milk
Orange juice
Ham and cheese
Cornmeal cake
