it looks like a problem with the alignment of the drum. check the two wheels that the drum rolls on. this will cause the seal to wear out again within 1 drying session.
I don't have drum wheels. Whats the part number for the kit you installed I have the door without detachable looks similar to the one you have. Mine has a black from the 10 to 2 position strip with plastic embedded. Then the white felt for the bottom from position 2 to position 10.
You have to be careful because once it’s cracked it can start causing damage to you clothes and can cause more damage to the drum. Try to level it so it won’t spread
Thank you for showing how to install front felt seal. Do you have a video for installing the back felt seal.
I do not
Do you have to remove the door before installing the seal? Forgive me - major novice here
It makes it easier and accessible

What if the metal is cracked

@@PhillipsVision it literally crumbled so now there's a hole and it feels like paper, what should I do?
@@Fusionz01 need to be careful because you’ll start seeing clothes getting damaged and the metal will wear even more
@@PhillipsVision is there anyway I could just tape the hole with some weld glue or something?
@@Fusionz01 you could try but the rubbing against it might wear it off
You should paint that bare metal. All those wet clothes will have that rusting in no time.
