Same here, it is the first movie I saw twice in at the theater and one of the first that I actively got a lot of the merchandise produced to market it. Plus, I can honestly say I enjoyed it more than many other squeals and comedies produced since it was released in 1989.
Ghostbusters 2 doesn't get the credit it deserves. It was an excellent sequel in my opinion, and I'm hoping there's some references to it in the new movie. Maybe a mention of what happened to Ecto1A, or a mention of Vigo.

I think in frozen empire it would be funny if vigo was in the firehouse stuck in the painting like the videogame
They should add crossing the streams without the boss fight, so kind of like if you accidentally pull the streams together you cross the streams
