I have serious depth perception issues so at these heights I often have to remind myself that the buildings lining central park are massive 20 - 30 story buildings.
I've never been there and have similar scale perception issues. Trees are easily around 10 storeys high and in places the park at the esde is well above the street level in front of the adjacent buildings. It's 800 meters across, the world record holder takes 100 seconds to bridge that on foot under ideal conditions. The buildings thus look kind of low as they stick out over the trees. Many or most houses at the park actually only have a view up to the first tree :)
@@lewizzrocks No-one needs to be up that high, and it's inefficient building to the extreme. That geometric view though, the 4200x800 meters of green park lined by classic buildings...it has something magical. Plus, you live close to that large park. Being a full floor, the views are almost all around, only obstructed by taller building sill. I think for the same money I'd get a duplex on the next tower over, maybe slightly higher up even. The smaller floors in duplex make it more like a town house or villa in the sky, a vibe I like. The large single floor usually results in needlessly large central galleries that just eat up space and only come into use when you have too people showing up for your party.
And some of the most annoying roof lighting in all of NY. It makes the building look really cheesy and annoys everyone north of it....like Times Square has expanded.

There are specific furniture stores that sell contemporary furniture, and if you live in a large City, or better NYC, then it wouldn't be hard to find what you are looking for.
Agree totally - cold, looks like a space for business/meetings truly. No vision and way too high up, no connection to the actual city and its life/energy.

Right ! They sell it as a 92 stories building... which is a lie!! The 432 park avenue is a way taller than One57 and the last floor (non mechanical) is on the 96th floor.
@E Double Me neither but I found suspicious when they build 432 park avenue and they mentioned it is 96 floors ... and is a way higher than One57. And I made a quick research online and I discovered that the promoters of one57 lied to the customers

In most Manhattan buildings the first few residential floors are skipped over. Living on the "third floor" sounds alot less appealing than living on the 15th floor. In the case of One57 I believe floors 10-14 and 20-29 are skipped.
On average I go in and out my 1 story house about 10-15 times a day, just imagine the fucking head ache it would be to live 87th floors up.
yep, it would get old real fast!
Now THAT's a view! With the hotel to feed me and everything else delivered, there's no reason to leave!
@E Double that’s way high! But I guess they can afford it.
@E Double omg! That is greed! At its worst I’d say.
ahah theres no reason to leave my lil house too, ifood so many options

So basically this is one bog loft with a bunch of stone. And the view u will forget abot in 3 weeks it will be no big deal. What a lonley place.

A coffee shop would have been better. Then I could also enjoy the view for a few minutes.
why does he seem to be grimacing through this whole deal

How about this☝️
I’m definitely moving into a place like that when I move out of my parents house
The views are absolutely incredible
Like living in a museum ... good for show and tell.
… and that’s about it
I am pretty sure that high up, you can feel you apartment swaying with wind. No thanks.
The master bedroom is just a little bigger than my whole apartment 😂
Same.
87 floor!? damn
The master bedroom is bigger than my coffee cup.
So, about 2 grand / month, right?
I like the scale of this building 432 park is just ridiculous lol being so high up you lose touch with the city.
Agreed. Even if I could afford to live there, I would NEVER live that high off the ground.
@@Monorail-Beyond-the-Veil it’s essentially bragging rights. The best condos are 400-700 off the ground anything else is overkill.
