HAHA! Jeffersonville Golf course! I play in a league there every Tuesday for the last 20 years. The greens are always in amazing condition because they are so hard to hit!! hahahahahaha. I've probably played 500 rounds there and you found yourself in all of the typical big no-no places! 8, 13, 15 and 18 are absolute death depending on the pin locations. I greatly enjoyed watching your video!
No Way Baron I wondered if anybody would watch who played the course regulary 😁. I really enjoyed it, greens were small, tricky and quick. Like you said miss on the wrong side and your knackered..
This is the town where I grew up. I played here in my teens (when my dad dragged me out) and never knew what I had. They just got a big grant to restore the course, so in a few years it should be even nicer.
@@ScratchAt50 If can get on Merion do it!!! I would give just about anything to lay there. Walking only and they have a caddie shack. No carts. Stunning course. I went to the US Open there and took my Dad for fathers day. Justin Rose won it.
Had such a great day there and the best thing about UA-cam is that I can relive it again whenever I want. Heading back this fall to play Applebrook and Merion East 💥. Will play some other courses as well. Thanks for the comment Dominic 👍
Yes I go to Philly every Fall to visit my Brother but tend to always play Merion East, Applebrook and Aronimink. As you say its an incredible area for public and private golf courses. Jeffersonville is our nearest course and I was interested to see a Donald Ross design public golf course. Love my visits to PA
@@ScratchAt50 - I play at Shannondell just about every Thursday which is right down the road from there... I also play at Jefferson as well. If you want another local public course to look at, check out 5 Ponds Golf Club in Warminster... That's my home course. Or if you want a tight little private course I also play at Talamore Country club...

Also: Just guessing: Assuming you’re staying in the area, the bucket list private course is Merion?
Yes they had knocked the clubhouse down to start building a new one as part of investment 👍

It's already in amazing shape I would 100% recommend getting out there this year
Course I discovered the game on and quite possibly my favorite place in the world. Glad you enjoyed your time see you when you return cheers

Nice vid! So lucky to have a public Ross in Philly! On 18 today, the pin was where you putted from - not easy! Hole #2 is awesome too
Had a great day there, coming back to Philly this fall hopefully 🙏
@@ScratchAt50 hope you can hit Aronimink this next trip! Cheers mate
this area of pennsylvania prob has 50 golf courses public/private that are almost as good or better than jeffersonville within 50 miles
