Nice trailer reaction! ^_^ Anime fans do not speak of the Dragon Ball live action movie, the director/writers didn't know anything about the Anime or Manga. and tried to just do their own thing which is why it sucked. On the other hand, James Cameron has been a fan of Battle Angel Alita since 2000 and been wanting to do a movie since the early 2000s. I've been a fan of the Manga since 1990, and I can tell you I'm super excited the story in the movie is doing the source material great justice! 100% have to see the movie at least 2 times! :-D

Th 1st has the maggie stiff song, the 2nd has the "new divide" song, you watched the 3rd and the 4th was released overseas has the mars battle at the start of it... As a fan of the manga I actually think this live-action adaptation will be better than the anime adaptation is! Some reporters have just seen a special screening of Alita Battle Angel and they've all given it a positive response .

I agree with you on Alita, I've been waiting for that movie for a year, and even if it ends up not being as well written or directed as I hope, I think I'll be VERY forgiving because I LOVE Alita's design, seriously. However, sorry, but Avatar didn't change my life. At all. :D

i dont like alot of movies,series or books that have female leads but it is not that i hat females i jsut cant relate with the charathers most of the time and i have alot of movies,series and books with female leads i love because i can relate with there personality and i always give female leads a chances and even if i did not then it is because i saw enough that i do not like the choices the main charather is gonna make or just theyre personality it is not what i wanna follow may by it is that what they mean i HATE supergirl but i loved the hunger games movies and books it is personal choice
On the "proto-feminist" comment, I just hate how the movie's marketing team is advertising this movie. They're trying to ride off the wave of the Wonder Woman success story and the upcoming Captain Marvel. What these people don't get is that using politically charged advertising schemes only divide the audience. Wonderwoman and captain marvel on the other hand was also politically charged, but it is backed by the establish Marvel/DC movie fanbase (superhero worshippers). What does Alita battle angel have? Nerds, mostly males that read the manga. You know who also loves futuristic cyberpunk-esque stories? Gamers, Anime lovers, More nerds, Elon Musk, etc. These audiences are from a sub-culture that thrive on the internet. The feminists out there are typically not anime-lovers, they're mostly outside the nerd-culture and part of the bigger main-stream culture which is painfully *meetoo*. A better way to market is to just remove the feminism from the advertising, and gear it toward the nerd culture. It will create more traction with the help of the internet. I don't think the story itself is feminist. The circumstances might parallel some things, but its just a story about a girl, growing up, falling in love, rebelling, getting use to her body, and finding out the truth about the world. The story itself doesn't seem to imply a theme of female supremacy like some other movies (Star Wars)… since Alita is a very loving character that cares for her male parenting figure, and love interest, theres evil females in the movie, and she makes mistakes with regrets, has weaknesses and not a mary sue.
I agree, and I decided not to give a shit. As long as the movie isn't politicized, and I don't think it is (while a film like Captain Marvel obviously is...), they can sell it any way they want (okay, I hope they're not gonna fuck this up though because it would be cool that the movie doesn't bomb at the box-office...). In a recent video, Cameron talked about "female empowerment" (how original)... why not ? To feminists, Alien is a feminist movie. I don't see it that way, but I understand. And it doesn't stop me from loving it.
I believe this will be one of the best movie of the year.....
