ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Yeah the Modular Suit was seriously cool. I remember it mostly from the show as well but the comics hit on his abilities as well. Basically it allowed him to add parts to one suit instead of having a bunch of specialized individual suits. Smart IMO :) Great job sir!
that was the suit Iron Man wore in the first marvel comic book (spider-man book) i ever read! So awsome!

90’s marvel is when I started
For me it was a bit all over the place. Both 80s I got from my dad. 90s from his brother and new books from early to mid 00s. I'm born in 02, so a bit of a mix from diffrent eras.
In the story I think tony took one of his "old" suits or something becase it was from mid 00 I think.
Even though this doesn't have the plain red and yellow colors, I still love IT!!!!!!! Because I've been watching the Ironman cartoon and playing MARVEL vs CAPCOM, I've been wanting a updated modular Ironman ever since Toybiz made one, Of course I picked this figure, HASBRO KILLED IT!!!! LOOKS HELLA SICK!!!!!
The Modular armour is a huge part of my childhood. The 90s Iron man cartoon, MVC2. It's incredibly 90s.

@@dankerbell probably cause the sequel trilogy didn’t do so well so they were left with so many figures, so in hasbros eyes they see the line as less important than the Marvel legends line
I actually love the “marbleing” on these figures. Gives it an ethereal metal look.
I can see Modular being re-released later on in the future with more of a Yellow instead of the gold, for the people who want more accurate color scheme for a MVC display.
How dope would it be if we actually got MVC line or wave? Even though, I'm pretty sure Bandai has the licenses right for the Capcom characters ( at least a good chunk of them)

It would probably be a nightmare making a MvC wave. The reason I say is do you know how hard that would be for them to do? They would literally have to get a license for the characters they’d want to use. And then also the company(Capcom) of the characters they use would also have to also get a portion of the profit Hasbro makes from the figures Hasbro uses. And right now the Hasbro/Marvel team are being super money hungry like extremely money hungry. They’re starting to charge instead of $19 a fig they’re going up to $25 a fig. And they don’t even need the extra money especially since the Sentinel preorders came out. They are literally swimming in money.

this figure is a GREAT example that shows that hasbro can come up with some nice sculpts! anatomically speaking, this figure is beautiful. this figure has a nice super hero shape to it and the proportions are so good. this is the type of sculpting i wanna see more often from hasbro.
edit: i’d also like to add that you are improving your stop motion game a lot! something about this reviews stop motion segment was really smooth to me, nice work!
I think every figure should have butterfly joints, it adds to dynamic posing so much
This is now my definitive Iron Man, with it being the look from the 90's animated series, the comics, and the Marvel Vs Capcom games, the Modular Armor will always be my number one.

I have never purchased a Marvel Legends Iron man. This might just be my first. Ive only ever had the 94 iron which had this design. But I really like this version, the gold and marbel red looks sick.
You may want to wait, they may rerelease this with the yellow and deep red color.

oh yeah, definitely gonna get this Iron man figure and will be my definitive Iron man for my entire collection, i may be or may be not the only one who sees it this way but every time i see this armor it reminds me of mexican luchadores, which i seem to like a lot.
It'd be cool if they one day made a battle-damaged Ironman; with his helmet and armor all scratched and busted up, with little wires exposed, and parts of Toney's flesh visible underneath.

Just got him yesterday and I love it. My only criticism is that I want him in red and yellow like the recently re-deco hologram armor. No doubt that is inevitable and probably a War Machine version. But the gold really is beautiful. I don't know if the yellow in the comics was always supposed to represent gold or not.
Also, thanks for pointing out that his head can go all the way back. My joint was stiff and I didn't think he was capable.

Another good, honest review. I dug it. I got to say, for a good long while, I've been bored with Marvel Legends Iron Man figures. This one actually has me impressed. The only thing that could make it better is if they added more gold accents, like on the helmet, for example. I'll buy one if I find it on the pegs. Lots of luck, right?

This is the exact paint scheme the Heroes Reborn version should have has YEARS ago. The prototype of that figure looked amazing and what we got was astounding disappointment. I can’t wait to find this one.

I love this iron man fig, had it for a week. still I love the 80"th aniversery bob layton inspired iron man fig just a little better. modular looks almost perfect....they did'nt paint the gold trim on the head.

Can't wait to get this fig. Mainly a transformers collector here but decided to pickup ai iron man because he looked like to old cartoons and comics. Really liked that fig and want more not going to collect as much as I do transformers but want to get an avengers vs Ultron diorama and this iron man fig you just reviewed is favorite design as I grew up watching that show. which is weird as I'm only 18 so I'm younger than alot of the shows and comics I like but hey that's what my parents had me watching as a kid.

I think this is Mark 43 from Avengers Age Of Ultron since he made the mark 43 *to make* the Hulkbuster armor... I mean if you know what Armor Iron Man used in Age Of Ultron it's definitely mark 43 and the Modular Armor is like the mark 43 *but* in comic version like the Hulkbuster is the mark 44
