My grandpa wanted to live in an old historic building turned into retirement home, he said the ghost were nicer than the residents and most of the employees. Garin good luck on your season!
Im from Skidmore , only odd thing that happens is when strangers drive through . The whole town stops what they are doing and just stares at you until you all the way out of the city limit's .... LOL
Kat! You have such a great response. My family is from Los Lunas, NM. And it is still today a small community , that has not changed over the years, and not every town and city has the same convience ! America is so diverse, What is,so cool to live here is there is so many opportunities and the American community encourages growth and community. Keep posting! We live in Central Florida / Lakeland and planning to go Europe for a long week. I really appreciate your culture and Country as well!
5:14 that clip is Thurmond, WV not Point Pleasant. 6:19 also Thurmond The mine at Centralia was NOT a strip mine, and it's not barricaded off. Two main roads go through Centralia, one goes east-west and the other goes north-south. And it's not "unknown" if people still live there, their cars are in their driveway.
Whittier, Alaska is a very important seaport. There is no direct railroad link from the lower 48 States to Alaska. Containers full of needed materials arrive on ships and then get transferred to the Alaska Railroad to be moved to the interior. Freight trains and cars must share that one-lane tunnel. The tunnel has signal lights at each end controlling the direction of traffic. In the Summer, cruise ships bring in thousands of tourists who board sightseeing trains to visit the Alaska glaciers. Centralia, Pennsylvania is in an historic coal mining area. There are several abandoned mines under the town. Unfortunately, a fire got started in one of the abandoned mines and is burning its way through the tunnels under the towns. Estimates says that it could burn for another 200 years.
Skidmore, Missouri is probably about 20 miles from where my sister lived in Maryville, Missouri and yes she told me about the story of that town bully. Weird but true. 😐
I don't like when it gets dark so early. The a un sets at 6:16 today. But we are going to change our clocks this weekend. It would be 7:16 after the time change.
For Pt Pleasant, the floods affected the entire Ohio River on both sides all the way through Kentucky. It was hardly just a Pt. Pleasant tragedy. Marshall University is an hour away, and the plane crash happened at the tri-state airport, a further 10-15 minutes from there. It's a stretch to attribute these to a curse in Pt. Pleasant.
I remember that whole Rajneesh idiocy as I was a young adult living in Oregon at the time. The followers that came to the town where I lived kind of reminded me of the Hare Krishna followers you used to see in the airports but way more pervasive and annoying. Then things got crazy, even for Oregon, and bombings, assassination attempts and other weird stuff Rajneeshpuram got shut down.
He was apprehended in Charlotte. During his stay in the Mecklenburg County Jail, he wanted ice cream, so the Sheriffs would only allow him if he bought it himself & buy enough for all the inmates in all the county jails for an entire year's worth. He paid & the rest, as they say, is history.
I suggest u watch the shining, and reevaluate your idea of everyone in one large building 😉. Lol. Great video guys . ✌( sorry if the ✌ means anything over there other than peace ). 😅
Come on. Point Pleasant is an ok town. I guess it’s about a 3 hour drive (maybe less) from our home in West Virginia. While I don’t believe in any of this stuff, my love of horror movies had me pose with Mothman.
Brigg’s isn’t the best source of information. But he tries. Whittier doesn’t belong on a list of creepy towns. It belongs on a list of unique towns. There’s nothing creepy about the Begich Towers.
From what I read, it only inspired the movie not the games. But people still like to spread the misinformation that Silent Hill as a whole was inspired by Centralia.
First off Whittier Alaska the people there are amazing they're Christian people a lot of older people they're very kind people so you need to kind of be careful when you're calling a place creepy just because it's a single building it's no different than if there was a apartment complex so yeah Whittier is not creepy at all
Brigg's videos are over sensationalized. Early on he mentions "extremely religious people." Seems like he should explain how he came to the conclusion. Extremely religious people are not automatically a bad thing. 3,000 residents in a town does not equate to a ghost town. The Oregon ocean scene he showed for the Antelope clips was in Astoria, not Antelope. Deer come onto porches all across the country, especially in rural areas. Hardly a weird occurrence. He showed a photo of horned animal that was certainly not a deer. Maybe he hasn't seen one in real life. Besides, how is having deer come to your porch cultic. He must be a big city dweller. Maybe the people in the town with one way in and one way out just wanted to see who the motorcyclist was!
Garin is a proper host..great job dude & Hi Kat!❤🤍💙
Agreed. Jonah better step up his game!

Whittier, Alaska is gorgeous not creepy! Been there!
Can you go inside the Begich Towers ?
I watched a UA-camr who went there and interviewed residents of the tower. They all seemed very nice and welcoming to outsides.

Whittier, Alaska. Kinda difficult finding that special someone to spend the rest of your life with!!!!

I've driven through Point Pleasant West Virginia a few times and it's an experience to say the least
Garin is getting more than he bargained for with the gruesome stories in recent videos haha. But he's handling it well!
Telling me not to go to a town is just motivation for me!
What did you have the other half of the year? That’s all daylight and only six hours of darkness
Skidmore, Missouri is probably about 20 miles from where my sister lived in Maryville, Missouri and yes she told me about the story of that town bully. Weird but true. 😐

I bet you guys didn't think this video was gonna turn so grim, right? Lol. 😅😅.
I live right down the road from the Villisca Axe Murder House. It’s not that bad
That Whittier situation might not be bad at all.
Hello From Texas
I do not live that far from point Pleasant West Virginia

And the creepiest town is Washington DC
Brigg’s isn’t the best source of information. But he tries.

Yup he love Washington state which sucks
Ya'll are awesome, but that was a bad video to react to, title was misleading for ya'll is my guess.
The guy that made this video isnt accurate lol
But in you may 22 or 23 hours of daylight
8:46 Centralia is NOT the inspiration for Silent Hill. I’m a massive fan so I like making this correction. 😊

The creepiest town in te US is Washington DC.

I've done a ghost hunt at the vilisca ax murder house
Brigg's videos are interesting
Not really
Hey guys does anyone know where/how we make suggestions for videos?
Right here.
Duh who cares
Great reaction you two. However, I think Briggs is being a bit over dramatic with some of these places.
Yup he has a big bias
Did I miss Salem. Mass in this list?
Nope it's not creepy

He hates certain states and loves the PNW
