When Tony started the "What's the one move...." question, my brain immediately shouted "The one move you fear??? THE TORNADO DDT!!!!!" Shout out to Fuego!
QT just seems so chill and knowledgeable, not the hugest factory fan but its nice to see a nexus esque group of rookies actually get a chance makes me smile.
I'm gonna be honest. I have never heard of QT Marshall before AEW. I guess that's also because I haven't been watching wrestling in 20 years. But when he began to wrestle in the shows... I sensed he was a big deal behind the scenes like a Dean Malenko or something. So I intuitively knew he was a veteran of some sort like an Eddie Kingston (whom I haven't heard of, either). But the way the carry themselves shows they are veterans of the business. Enjoyed all his angles including the love affair with the Bunny. Because it really was getting to Brandi and Dusty Rhodes. But I love this new QT with the Factory. He's got that Tony Soprano vibe and that sitting on the metal steps thing... keep that up. It's already iconic.
Wow!!! Didn’t realize that QT worked and trained Anna Jay #99. Such a great performer, can’t wait until her shoulder his healed and can perform again. So young and talented she has soooo much potential to achieve. Plus she is so great on BTE with the Dark Order skits I miss that her not being there for that.
Ohhh man such honesty you don't usually see. It is like he doesn't care, truth & honesty matters more to him. He's really a hard working guy, Cody also put him over great in his AEW Unrestricted Podcast appearance.
When Fuego hit that tornado DDT on QT, I popped so hard! Even though he lost, it was such a victory that he managed to hit it at all! Huge pay off after so much build from Sammy's vlog!
QT is fine with not being the biggest star. He knows he's not the most charismatic. But for what he does he deserves respect and appreciation. QT keeps the show running so much that he probably will be head producer in a few years. If you watch Dynamite, you have to respect everything he does to keep the show going. Without QT AEW would certainly falter behind the scenes.
Agree! It takes a lot of ingredients so to say to make a dish work, the same applies to people in prowrestling. Not everyone can be or has to be the top shining babyface or the most hated heel, a promotion needs plenty of people to fill in those gaps inbetween to ensure proper flow and substance. I dig QT's perspective and I like that he brings up how it differs from those backstage. Having so much variance brings more creative approaches to tackling things versus a whole crew of thinkers who all echo the same thing.
I didn't even know who QT Marshall was, but boy I know now! This was masterfully planned and executed. I love seeing what QT's up to every week now, and his band of merry men. Count me a QT fan now.
Thank you QT. For your hard work backstage. And for training Lee Johnson, Anna Jay, Vlan Vngels and Pres10n Vance. You have very much earned your TV time and fuck the haters xD
Guys that don t have a contract that are brought in to make the headline stars shine on Dark and Elevation. Baron Black and Fuego Del Sol are good examples.
QT is amazing, talented in the ring, and one hell of a mind for wrestling, the haters are going to hate, the fact that they cannot recognize his talent and contributions just shows you they come from a place of total ignorance.
Might be just me, but Q.T Marshall, the person comes across like a real jerk. He comes across very passive aggressive with things he doesn’t like, in his interviews, which confuses me cause it doesn’t mix in with the backstage culture I envision in AEW. Like he will say something real snarky about the wrestlers, but puts a cherry on top so it doesn’t sound too bad. I just don’t like the man as a person or a wrestler
I think it's just because his delivery is dry. For example when he's answering the fan question about the Diamond Cutter. His and inflection doesn't change much in terms of how he speaks about being Cody's real life friend and all the Factory work and then mocking the fan for asking about the move. I can see how it would be easy to interpret him as being snarky or dismissive, but the man had solid work ethic. I think he's all around pretty stoic in terms of how he just comes across from being in character on screen to just being himself in interviews.
@@c_lee_ Nah it’s not the fact he’s being honest that bothers me, and not the delivery, bud the way he feels about things, and the things he says, just doesn’t fit the idea that aew has presented as far as backstage culture. Not the first time he’s said something about enhancement talent that kinda rubbed me the wrong way in interviews or other things he’s said. It’s passive aggressive
@@petervanna6602maybe his presence backstage is balanced by the others. I'm sure there's lots of variance in perspective and approaches, and I see that as a benefit because it prevents AEW from being just a group of like-minded yes-men.
Big fan of AEW but this is not it. With AEW giving this lame jobber a top level feud with Cody and then AEW having him on the AEW podcast is unwarranted and not needed. AEW please stop pushing QT. Enough QT. Send him back to Dark. It’s bad enough he’s on Dark though. Can he just work behind the scenes so we don’t watch QT at all?
QT Marshall is the real deal.
Loved how he endured hate in his persona and do his job as best.

I love QT honesty and all he pretty cool and chill and nice dude.

QT Marshall has such a great wrestling mind
LMFAO
That’s MY coach! Super proud of all he’s accomplished. He deserves it!

14:55 "I hate the fans." Finally someone that's honest. I don't blame him either. Nobody hates wrestling more than wrestling fans.
Just like nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans.

It makes a big big big difference
QT always keeping it real 💯 authentic. Gotta love it man
I love his heel work in aew

QT had one stipulation to this interview. "Please, don't bring up Fuego Del Sol. After months of therapy, I still see him in every corner."

Indeed. He's damn good trainer as evidenced by the many folks comin out of the Factory on Dark etc.
AEW AEW AEW!!!
Great Interview With AEW Star #QTMarshall
Why has Fuego not been signed? His pops are some of the biggest you get. Don't let him slip through guys we all love him.
U need to watch bte and sammy's vlog if u don't already. He's always on there and he's fighting for a spot in the nightmare family
@@ninjanunch27 I do, I watch all of the vlogs from AEW talent. Keep spreading the word though. :)

I was a big j.r. fan still am but Tony's the man in wrestling
Guys, can someone please tell me what is "enhancement match" or *enhancement talent" in wrestling lingo?
Guys that don t have a contract that are brought in to make the headline stars shine on Dark and Elevation. Baron Black and Fuego Del Sol are good examples.
Rookies that are there to make the other guy look good

QT is awesome, and AEW is lucky to have him.

QT! You Mother Friendly son of a beauty! I wanna fight you, because you're better than me!
