- It's 10 solid minutes of useless information about Rocket League....PLUS 1. I did it again. A video full of random facts, history, stories, updates, items, and a whole bunch of unusual clips and observations. None of which really matter at all. At the end of this video you are not going to be a better player and you definitely aren't going to rank up. But I think you'll at least find it an interesting and maybe even entertaining way to spend 11 minutes. My goal is to show you sights you've never seen before and tell you stories you've never heard before. You're not going to find many Rocket League videos like this one. It's not just trivia, this is 11 solid minutes of useless Rocket League Information.

My favorite bit was the analysis of the effect of demos on the ball. Reminded me of Rocket Science's videos where I learn waaaay more about this wonderful car soccer game than I ever thought possible. Nice work, Sledge!

i think the underground tunnel was the most interesting, a map featuring it would be strange, but maybe cool. by far my favourite

"Arena Placebo feature" is exactly right. I've been testing how the arena preferences change what you play on and I've seen very little difference. In fact, so far, disliked maps have appeared more often during testing than when they appeared with no preferences selected at all.
It tends to try to match people together on whether they both 'like' or 'dislike' maps the same amount on each team, so no team likes/dislikes more than the other team - which means sometimes it will give people matchups where everyone dislikes it (equal teams) more than matchups where some like and some are neutral (not equal)
The fact that the 2 rule one players were scrolling through reddit is hilarious to me 😂
I mean honestly, the clip of scarabs being destroyed in unison by the air strike goal explosion was simply liberating

One of my favorite stadiums was urban central. I used to play casual 4v4 every Sunday morning having urban central as my main stadium. So it was a joy revisiting when all of the arenas got released. ( Xbox is Rmx Parrot)

my favorite rocket league fact was probably the first aerial goal because that's just so crazy that someone hit an aerial on the first day

Definitely my favorite fact from this was learning that the first aerial goal was (allegedly) made literally on day one of Alpha. I thought the aerial potential of this game wasn't realized till later. Seems like you astronauts have always known these cars weren't meant for the ground
Sarpbc has aerial montages and stuff so aerials have been around for ages
My favorite part is that someone actually took the time to count every egg in the stands! You know how bored AND dedicated you have to be to decide you're gonna count over 32,000 eggs lmao

it's not a lie, you just have to multiply the rows and columns, and that would give you how much eggs are in there, you don't have to count one by one

My favorite thing on this list is the fact that the statue has infinite flex over most of the player base

8:42, the "write in the sky with your own custom rocket boost!" would be a sick goal explosion, where skywriting planes/jets (like on Champion's Field at 10:51) fly over the map after you score and have your name written across the sky. If it ended up that long names caused problems though through, then maybe something like the goal speed or just the team color would be cool.
I feel really sick, but glad this video was here to watch while laying in bed

The water reflection just being upside down models is my favorite fact. honestly props to whoever thought of this design, as it provides nice visuals (which aren't even gonna be given attention to in game) without the performance cost of rendering reflections

My favorite is clip is from your first video where you mention that everyone drives in Rocket League, but no one really *takes* a drive in Rocket League. It made me think of how cool it would be if there was some sort of exploratory Rocket League mode, or racing, or something! I love my cars, and I just want to drive them around!
