Thanks a lot!!! But I feel like it could have been done without taking out the inside parts, even the fiddly bit at 5:30 (fitting the moving mechanism). I might be wrong...
This is great, but I bought the replacement piece like you have and realized the right side vertical vents are broken. Is there another part that included this? Thanks!
I bought the same vents and did the installation and in my humble opinion it's not worth replacing. This video is good so I'm not knocking the video it's just that the part itself is so cheap and will likely break when trying to put it back together. It can be done, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze if you ask me. Mine is slightly better than before but the new vents broke while installing. I wouldn't have bothered had I known the pain in the ass trying to line up the vents. At the end of the day I didn't spend that much so not the end of the world. It just sucks that I took all that time and the vents on the right side are still broken. It's just not as broken as the old one.

I have a 2014 bmw 535i the rear vent blows cold air while the heater is on. On the driver and passenger side help
