I find that when I increase my training and I'm training at high levels I can't actually eat enough food, it's just days of me raiding the cupboards and cursing myself for not buying enough food.
And I love a good shot from a chest mount on a long downhill.

Yeah it becomes a challenge to get enough in. I find myself having to reject low calorie foods. 😍 for the chesty. So annoying to wear, but the cockpit view is sweet.

Camera angles worked well, especially timed with the beat of the music. 🙌🏻 My reco is pretty much identical, love my Thera gun. For me more recently (been plant based) a regular protein supplement has made a huge difference to my recovery. Keep up the great vids. Ps, I’ve been on magnesium for about 10yrs, no need for Pillar. 😉

Thanks for noticing the editing effort, so many more dimensions with extra video. I am getting super tempted to get a Insta360 for infinitely more angles. Are you doing plant based protein powder? I am having to supplement protein too, hard to get enough.

No, I just can’t do the pea proteins. I Use Emerald Labs, best tasting chocolate I’ve ever tasted and very low sugar.

I haven't seen those guys before. Will have to check it out. I typically use True Protein and they have a plant based on I keep meaning to try out.

As someone who is older than you, I find that I have to listen to my body and take time off and/or easier rides. My job is also quite physical and that can have an impact on what I can achieve.
    Your video was interesting.

You are right, the more in-tune with your body you can be the better. Understanding my early warning signs and addressing them in recovery keeps me rolling.

my recovery days are 1 hour at 100w zone 1 with sudden busrt of high cadence aroung 120rpm. after i feel great, like the lactate acid is rinsed out and ready to go hard the next day.

The high RPM stuff seems popular for recovery. I tend to take the whole day off. But that is as much as giving the family time off as it is my legs ☯️

Have you seen the Nero show boys riding around Sydney

Once in a while you cross paths with them when our big rides serendipitously align. Otherwise I don't get down to Centennial Park very often which is their regular haunt. Did see Chris a few times at Peaks though.

I love this app. I use it when planning for big rides and events.

@@ModerateCyclist I used it after seeing Harry Sweeney use it and it’s very interesting to see what you burn etc
