Two Jewish guys are walking when one notices a sign on a Catholic church that says "Convert to Christianity, and we'll give you $100." The one says to the other, "should we do it??" The other says "NO!! Are you crazy? The first guy replies "Hey, a hundred dollars is a hundred dollars... I'm gonna do it." So he walks in to the church, and little while later, he walks back out. The friend says "well, did you get the money? He replies "Oh that's all you people think about, isn't it?
Why does it matter? This TV show guy would be making big dollars anyway, although the scammers don't deserve the money. A suggestion would be to use fake currency though
When I was in Jerusalem a man approached me. He was very polite and seemed like he just wanted to show me some of his culture or whatever. Later he told me to follow so I did so. He had lead me to a synagogue and well there more or less tried to force me to buy a ticket to go into this synagogue but I didn't wanted to spend the like 30$ to just have a look so I said no. When I later tried to leave the man who lead me there came up to me and begged for money and I didn't have any cash on me but he didn't believe me. He got really mad and said "I want to put my shoe in your mouth" he also got up in my face and screamed "get out of my synagogue!". Was a pretty weird experience, guess it was one of those scams...
All who don't like us jews can suck our big cosher dick. Der juden as you call us send your natszi friends to the hell. People of Israel live, fighting and winning. God with us and true with us.
I honestly hope you gave the woman at the end some money tbh the first clip she said “I said he was a thief” and I mean even tho she was panhandling it’s a lot more honest and morally right considering how easy it would be for her to do the same type of thing. She probably needed it more and has a lot less compared to the scammers. I’m sure she knows she could get a lot more but it’s humble of her to watch as they do it, probably seeing it day after day and still being honest with what she’s doing.
As a Jew I could already tell you at 40 seconds in, the "Rabbi" has probably 0 experiance in learning Jewish scripture and law. And I could say that simply because based on how he dresses. He is trying to identify as "ultra" orthodox Ashkenazi Jew, and does a good job at it. The only problem is that he is using the wrong hebrew accent when saying the "beacha". He is using the pseudo-sefaradi style of Hebrew, which is common amongst Israelis, instead of the Lithuanian/polish pronunciation. By the way, I am a rabbi and nowhere in Jewiah scripture, be it the Talmud or in a kabbalistic text, are these strings mentioned or hinted to. Don't buy them.
And if you call this out for what it is, you'll be labeled as an anti-Jewish person. But in fairness, the SAME THING happens at the Kabba in Mecca. People go there specifically to steal from people making Hajj. When I learned of this, it absolutely broke my heart. This is part of the human condition, and not limited to any religion or race.
These are small time scammers, it's nothing compared to the industrial-scale scam pulled by the prosperity churches in the USA. Followers have to make tithes and donations, pledge a percentage of their income, to these churches with the promise that God will grant them wealth and prosperity in return. The more you give, the more you will prosper. The preachers put on a good show, they've got a good schtick, and they use these donations to live in mansions, drive around in Bentleys, and fly on private jets....they are the ones who prosper, not the followers. Their version of Jesus is one who wears a smart suit, wearing Ray-Bans with greased back hair giving a sermon on the mount about an exciting business opportunity to get-rich-quick and swears to God it's not a ponzi scheme.
Can anything be LESS valuable than religious BLESSINGS?! Wow -- nothing fails quite like prayer. It's like a scam wrapped in .. more scamminess with scam-dressing.
I moved to Berlin from Canada a few years ago, on my first week there while exploring the city, I came across some women near the big cathedral, they apparently couldn't talk, but were asking for donations to help poor people like them, they had it all written down on a clipboard with a bunch of signatures, I offered 2€, but they saw my wallet... I ended up giving 20€ because they kept pleading silently. I later saw them sitting in a group, talking and eating lunch, when they saw me they promptly stood up and walked away. Over the years I was there I saw them many times, a few times on the UBaun while they were planning their spots and getting ready, putting on their "poor" clothing, hiding or taking off watches/jewelry, etc. Pissed me off for a long time, but I never said any thing, because who knows what kind of people they worked for, there are a lot of underground/shady business in Berlin run by mostly Turkish people.

I came across a very similar thing in Boston by the aquarium. Nice looking asian monks with not that great english handing out little wooden bead bracelets with little plastic prayer cards and such. As soon as you take the bracelet, donation book comes out. I just gave them back the bracelet heh.
Giving money was the point It was to show what would happen if the scam worked. These "scam detection" shows and skits have a budget specifically for convincing scammers
This breaks my heart. Some people will take advantage of anyone. There are garbage humans and amazing humans. Maybe these garbage humans can make us appreciate the special and selfless humans. People like this make tourists and other people not want to help the truly helpless because they now think everything is a scam. I believe in helping and being kind. Sadly this makes it so much harder on the poor children and others. Grrr

These red strings are the most amazing strings. They warn other beggars that you have already been tapped.

None, just cancer.
Chris Wheeler Or Zyklon B xD

Are you a dumbass? CNN and the left have been kissing Muslim's asses since forever...
Pretending to be a rabbi to scam someone is probably one of the worst things I can imagine someone doing.
Well then you don’t know much- rabbis all over the world run the biggest criminal syndicate in operation.
"Oh I already donated to the medium-rabbi back there. I gave him all of my money, you should ask him for some shekels."
Big respect to the reporter for saying "InSha'Allah"

Shoulda gave him that fake bill from Argentina. lmao
To be fair, a string or a blessing wouldn't mean anything coming from an actual Rhabbi, either.
Well nowhere in any Jewish book are such strings mentioned
I honestly remember giving 5 shekels back in the day for this... But this is totally optional aswell.
Chinese lady's do this in Times Square saying to donate for their temple 😑when I say no they take back their stuff 😂
yup, i get the monks . they're gonna be reborn as tree bark

If you want to give to the poor, you need to give it to a trusted tsedukah charity, not some random person

I hate how he gives in when he knows it’s a scam. DONT GIVE THEM THE MONEY!!!
Why the hell do u pay if its a scam
I was there in 1998. A Sephardic rabbi insisted I pay him for a blessing. I said "I want a tree of gold coins," and he said "yah, yah, I give you that." Then I gave another coin and said "I want a wife who looks like Lara Croft." Same answer as before.
So did you get your wife and golden tree?
@@joynalmiah8864 Of course not, I only paid him 50 cents worth of Israeli money.
I tried scamming a dude on runescape once and i felt so guilty i gave him more back than he gave me...
Simple, don't give them money. Learn to stand up for yourself and tell them I don't have any mula !!
Then maybe don't pay them ??
Why did you pay them?!
this is a very easy scam to avoid, say i dont give away my money and walk away
