good job restoring the super 70! i had a set of them in my 76 ibanez les paul but they were squeeling and mircophonic like nothing i ever encountered. probably something went bad with them over the years as i could talk into them like they were a microphone. anyways i sold them for the same amount that i originally paid for the entire guitar a few years before and was able to at least find some maxons from the mid-70s to put in the ibanez. it was a great deal but i still kind of regret selling them and not getting them repaired. certainly top 3 best sounding pickups i ever played. at least i got a free guitar out of it... ;)

I had super 70 in my 1976 ibanez les paul. They sounded great bit were crazy microphonic. Could not use then without them making squeeling noises. Even with a roland micro cube at whisper volume. Changed them for some early 70s maxon paf clones
It was shortly after changing the pickups that i learned how expensive super 70s are n the used market. Almost got all the money i paid for the ibanez back from just selling the pickups

What's the tune he's playing, in the end? Sounds familiar.
