I've never been scared to hit the jumps on my YFZ450R that I would on my YZ250F. Modern sport quads are engineering marvels!
@@Davido50 I'm curious,why would you ride a quad if you can ride and have a moto bike? Not bashing,just always wondered why people would choose a heavier less capable and more limited machine?
@@mototrials582 the sliding through turns does it for me. You don’t have to pick a line you can just lean in and blast it haha. I loved my Rmz250 dont get me wrong but ripping it on my yfz450 idk man it just moves me
@@staysweaty8912 Quads are fun as hell. I used to have a kfx 450, and that thing was an absolute beast. I haven't ridden it since 2007, but I still remember all my adventures on it. Now days I'm on 2 wheels. There're advantages to having 2 wheels vs 4, but I appreciate being able to squeeze through tight trails and go places a quad cant, like narrow passages and sections where a quad would just be simply too wide to pass. Also, it's great being able to fit 2 bikes in the back of my truck. It'd be impossible to fit 2 quads. That's where another $300 would come into play, now you need a trailer to haul your quads.

That's scream...that's that "HELL YEA, I DIDN'T DIE" scream!!! That feeling is indescribable unless you feel it...I've had that a few times jumping my Suzuki Z400 and on my MTB! Sick jumps and good job hitting them man!!!
Bull's eye with that statement about the scream, such an adrenaline rush!!!! Like he said, "ooooh, this is stressful..." and then to conquer it!!!! yeah, you really let it out then!
It was a big jump but we were hitting bigger jumps than that in the late 90's. Thats a clean rhythm section though. Props for a clean ride my guy.
Absolutely LOVED the ride!!! I used to ride them sport quads, but I didn't have access to such cool jumps. Nevertheless I can sure appreciate the guts it takes to do this sort of thing! Great footage! - with the shadow - that was very cool! And the go pro, so excellent!!!

Because it is growing up in North Dakota I'd make way bigger jumps with my dads 1982 case backhoe doing jumps 2x to 3x as big on my honda fourtrax 250 daily after slamming a 12 pack of coors

Nice! Damn I so badly wanna go ride at Muddy Creek now. I'm about 1 hour from bluntville Tennessee and we go riding there every now and then. I want to get in a crap load of practice before the race season starts back up. I ride a YFZ450R too. I love it! Honestly only 1 quad in the 450 class is almost as good as the YFZ450 as far as acceleration and that's the TRX450. Not as good as the YFZ in my opinion but still a damn good quad. Wish Honda hadn't stopped making the TRX450R in 2017. I was actually disappointed a little when I found out. I still like the KFX and the LTR450 but I'm just straight up loyal to Yamaha lol always have been.

You’ve obviously never hit a massive jump. The consequences are so high and the adrenaline is insane. I don’t mean that to sound insulting but anyone who has ever hit a big jump for the first time understands why he is screaming.

There's no point. Dirtbike riders annoy me to no end too and I used to ride them. Very toxic group of people. But this isn't a competition of who's better than who because the argument will never end. As it is bike riders have already made us look like we're the problem with the sport even though it's them that make riding miserable for atv riders. We can't have them be right about us man. Just have fun! 👍🏻

any corners and quad is faster.
