5:07 I'm not one of those holier than thou people who says you have to wear a helmet but throwing it on the ground like that is stupid. It's no good anymore. Has to be replaced.
That's nothing for a helmet, its literally landed on soft grass, when there's actually some weight that hits the helmet with force into the ground then the impact layers actually compress and does its job
@@furyxvanity2946 There's different kinds of helmets. A bike or skateboarding helmet would be completely fine taking several of those impacts and more. A DOT helmet that is designed for road or high speed use is compromised when dropped. And yes I know there's lots of studies that show road helmets should still be good after a drop like that but the keyword is "should". It's still been compromised and no manufacturer would recommend using it after that. Plus, I'm sure that's not the first time he's done that.
