usually making this with sliced black (canned) olives instead of capers and a lot of parmigiano reggiano. one can also make the sauce thicker and skip the pasta all together, works great as an antipasto on the bread
Thanks for your suggestion! However, in traditional Italian cuisine, we use capers and don't add parmesan to this dish. But everyone has their own taste, right? 😉

Just for people like myself, whom might not know; Vincenzo is using caper BERRIES in this recipe, they are different to the small capers you may have used in other recipes e.g Vincenzo's Puttanesca dish Same plant/bush but different part. Capers are unopened buds Caper berries are the fruit of the plant.
Thank you for sharing that insight! You're absolutely right, caper berries and capers come from the same plant but are different parts. It's important to use the right ingredient for the recipe. 🌿🫒 Keep enjoying the flavors of Italian cuisine!

I love this. I made this and it's amazing. Thank you Vincenzo!
Thank you for the amazing feedback! Hope you enjoy making more of my recipes 🙌🏻
usually making this with sliced black (canned) olives instead of capers and a lot of parmigiano reggiano. one can also make the sauce thicker and skip the pasta all together, works great as an antipasto on the bread
Thanks for your suggestion! However, in traditional Italian cuisine, we use capers and don't add parmesan to this dish. But everyone has their own taste, right? 😉
I love Your cooking. Perfect and satysfying content. I am always getting hungry when I watch it ☺😉
Have you tried recreating this dish? If not, you should! The flavor is outstanding and the texture is amazing. Worth every bite.

Absolutely one of my favorite pasta recipes now. Love it! Even my flexitarian daughter wants to eat this.
Would it be a mortal sin to add a little bit of pecorino? 🙏🏼

Wow I've never seen capers that big! They look beautiful.
And they're also very tasty!!
I just made this for a late lunch, and it was delicious!! Thanks, Vincenzo!
You are absolutely welcome,I'm glad that you like it.
Just for people like myself, whom might not know; Vincenzo is using caper BERRIES in this recipe, they are different to the small capers you may have used in other recipes e.g Vincenzo's Puttanesca dish
Same plant/bush but different part.
Capers are unopened buds
Caper berries are the fruit of the plant.
Thank you for sharing that insight! You're absolutely right, caper berries and capers come from the same plant but are different parts. It's important to use the right ingredient for the recipe. 🌿🫒 Keep enjoying the flavors of Italian cuisine!
Delicious dish, I bet.... Beautiful view!!! Thanks for sharing both with us!! 🫶
Our pleasure!
