@@IsaiahHudson1 This song was originally a love song, but because in Queendom Round 3, it was a round called Fandora Box (pronounced as Pandora Box), many of the fans chose this song, and MAMAMOO/Moonbyul decided to rewrite her rap as a dedication to Moomoos, saying that MMM missed Moomoos as much as Moomoos missed MMM.
That's why they included the clip of their trainee years and their time with Moomoos (them addressing Moomoos in different occasions).

MAMA MAMA MAMAMOO!!! It is their own song. The girls they kept flashing to were Mamamoo's competitors on Queendom. The video they stopped to show was when they were just starting out and Moonbyul's rap was a tribute to their fans, MooMoo's. Magnificent performance.

My Cats gave you links to all of MMM's performances on Queendom. They're all fantastic but I Miss You is truly special. It's one of the best live vocal performances they've ever done; the others on this level being their 14 group appearances on the singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2 between 2015-19. Unlike Queendom Immortal Songs doesn't allow lip synching or the use of vocal backing tracks, or at least they didn't when MMM performed. Unfortunately the tv network blocks reactions to Immortal Songs so either watch them on your own time or ghost the video over the background if you want to react to them. I'd recommend Delilah and Backwoods to start with but you can't go wrong with any of them. Solar also performed on Immortal Songs as a soloist last year.
I Miss You is an original song that was written by RBW songwriters/producers with Moonbyul writing her rap verse. It's from their 2015 full album Melting, which is a masterpiece from start to finish. For this "Fan-dora's Box" round of Queendom the competitors had to perform a song suggested by their fans. MMM took the spirit of the fan round to heart by partially re-writing I Miss You to turn it into a love song to moomoos and included the video showing clips of their journey from their RBW auditions to trainees to success with shout outs to moomoos. They were the only group to take this approach to the fan round.
There were excellent performances by the other competitors on Queendom, esp Oh My Girl, who were the runners up to Mamamoo. My main beef with Queendom was that some of the vocals by the other competitors were canned so the performances were more like what you normally see during promotions on tv music shows rather than a real competition on a level playing field. Same with the male competition show The Road to Kingdom.
It may seem picky but I cringe every time you call Hwasa Hawasa. If you could drop the HA and pronounce Hw as though it was Wh you'd make me happy. :)

I've known about Mamamoo since their Piano man days. Liked them well enough and once in awhile saw another one of their songs.
This performance... as soon as I saw it.... they slayed me. There's kpop groups that I like, that I enjoy... and then you have Mamamoo all by themselves in a league of their own, each member being special, being great and when you see them with an audience... you can feel the energy from them while they are feasting on the love of the crowd, not half-assing it, not going through the motions, but giving their all.
All their live performances are perfect. They're know as the best girl group when it comes to live stages, their energy is just on another level.
I defintely need to react to alot more of their live performances!!! I really have been slacking/missing out lol!!!!!
Oh, this is definitely perfection! I just love your reaction to my favorite Mamamoo ballad! Just legendary. Both the song and performance are just legendary. You have to check out their live performance of Where Are We Now the live band version for some more amazing, out of this world vocals. Believe me, you will be blown away once again.

This performance is just so iconic, Mamamoo never disappoint! I really need to see all of their other Queendom performances tbh, but I'm sure they're all just as great, because Mamamoo are just that great!

I would really recommend Mamamoo Imortal Medley. It is an incredible live performances of them covering classic Korean songs. It's a must see.

The funny fact is that this performance was the worst in terms of result (Third place on six) on the show. That was totally wrong !
