Well Queendom was a competition show (which they won) so the other groups back stage, including gidle, were their competitors as well as peers. The theme of that performance was to honor their fans. Mamamoo chose that song and the video in the middle of the performance was a condensed timeline of Mamamoo from trainees to current always showing the members thanking MooMoo's for their support. For me, Mamamoo will always be "that group", not just in gen 3, but in kpop history ❤❤🦋❤
They are unlike any other kpop group I have ever listened to. I can't even compare them to anybody else on the kpop scene. They don't 'feel' like anybody else. They are just Mamamoo. And that's beautiful.

The I Miss You performance was in a round labled Fandora's Box where the groups took fan suggestions for what to perform. Mamamoo took it farther and celebrated their fandom (as they do so frequently). Moonbyul rewrote her rap to be about their relationship with the moomoos and the videos were directed at their fans, which included many of the other contestants.
I highly recommend Queendom for your Patreon subs. The performances by all the groups that participated are considered by some as legendary. Keep Kleenex on hand..Tears of Joy may occur..

This performance always makes me cry. You can truly feel how grateful they are for their fans and how much they genuinely love and care for moomoos. One of the song is like disco so it will bring memories to you. Its a dance practice for big award events so for a dance practice it just look like a professional MV. This was the queendom competition and those were the competition. The also covered the AOA song Good Luck(AOA covered Egotistic). During the contest, the first 4 groups were asked who they Didn't want to compete against and all 4 groups said mamamoo, so then the show introduced mamamoo. There is a reason mamamoo is my favorite group anywhere in the world and this song shows it. I am also so deep into the Solar System, I would not even notice if the sun stopped rising one day but really all 4 are world wide at the top with the best of the best and this song shows god put at least 4 angels on earth to sing for us.

Wheein was going through some serious struggles at that time, and was not able to participate in all of the reality show aspects of Queendom, saving herself for the live stages. It brings tears to my heart watching her sing so incredibly beautifully, together with the other three members. The other thing that makes me cry every time is watching the announcement of Mamamoo’s Queendom win. These Idols got into the business because they loved singing, dancing and performing. They started out as fans, and they remain fans. The idea that there's any ill will between Idols/groups is nonsense. You see the proof every time groups/artists watch other groups/artists. It's especially true when it's a group like Mamamoo who's the current standard for vocal excellence. The only problem with this reaction is that Coach says that Wheein is his bias, while Hwasa is my bias, so Coach is clearly not always right. ;)

And, as you probably know, the huge news from a few days ago is that 2NE1 are reuniting and going on a world tour! They were a huge influence on everyone, especially many of the women who went on to become 3rd generation idols, Mamamoo included. I can’t wait to see them (while waiting for Mamamoo’s next world tour, and for more solo concerts by Mamamoo members).

These Idols got into the business because they loved singing, dancing and performing. They started out as fans, and they remain fans. The idea that there's any ill will between Idols/groups is nonsense. You see the proof every time groups/artists watch other groups/artists. It's especially true when it's a group like Mamamoo who's the current standard for vocal excellence.
The only problem with this reaction is that Coach says that Wheein is his bias, while Hwasa is my bias, so Coach is clearly not always right. ;)
🤣 Wheein is right for Coach. But great point about the animosity between groups. While we haven't seen as much behind the scenes content as most of our viewers, we simply don't see it, either. These ladies surely must respect anyone who has worked as hard as they have to make it in this tough industry.
Why is it wrong that Wheein is his bias? Bias, in Kpop, means your favorite member. In this case Wheein is that for coach. When choosing one there is no right or wrong.
