Hey Glamazons!! Here is my story about the time that my boss stole from me. They took a video and changed the password to their company account to prevent me from removing the video that I created on my own time. They totally took advantage of me and when I saw their BS and I decided to quit, they cut a bunch of jobs off my pay saying that they had to send out another plumber to fix my mistakes which is total BS. I wish nothing but the worst for them and their shitty business!!!

Girl, get yourself an attorney that charges after the fact. You obviously have a winning case here, use the money from either a settlement (if they want to avoid being sued) or from winning the Damn case. This blows my mind! This is a damn employment law case. You could sue for wrongful termination or take it to civil court where you could sue for property (the use of your video) who knows if they're still using it. Just because they took it down doesn't mean they didn't make copies and have their own ways of getting the video across to potential new hires. Ugh! I have so much to say on this, makes me so mad! 😠

Something very similar happened to me at my last job and it was a family owned business too, husband and wife, brother and sister and me... I didn't sue them because I got married and pregnant after and I was having such a hard time but this makes me so mad!!! Ughhh every time I see that office it makes me want to burn it down haha (of course I'm not going to do that...)

I asked MONTHS in advance for three days off for a convention I was saving up to go to as well as graduation and gma's bday. I never missed an hour of work and worked through all my breaks. Naturally, The owner gave me my time off and even offered to pay me. Well when I returned, THERE WAS A FOR HIRE SIGN ON THE DOOR!!! Not only did they fire me, But because I had never had a job before, I didn't know I had to sign paperwork to be a real paid employee. The dick family got FREE labor for an entire summer!!!! If you are in Mckinney, TX and see a donut shop called The Donut Palace, Please don't buy their food. They take advantage of people and spit in the frosting!!!

I would love to see you make a video about how to pass a job interview, me being young and never had a job, job interviews have always scared me from not starting to work earlier. And since you had a lot of different job experiences I feel you could really help! Like I never knew you could even ask the interviewer questions. here's my story about work money being stolen from me:
when i was much younger, like 21 i briefly worked at a hotel as a guest service agent, i had no previous hotel experience..just customer service. so i worked there and didn't get the best training but whatever..i ended up getting another job at a college (which i still work at) anyway, the manager did this thing where he pretended he was letting go of a few of the guest service agents - i figured out later that it was probably bullshit and he wanted to get rid of me, but didn't have any real evidence or reason to terminate me, so he came up with a plan to make it look like the hotel didn't have the money to keep us... later it looked like all of the other chicks were still there... anyway, months go by and i do my taxes..
and i get a letter from revenue canada saying i didn't report money i earned from them... i was like wtf? i haven't worked for them in a long ass time. then i saw something about another company i used to work for, was like wtf... why is revenue canada claiming i didn't file taxes on these places???
so i look into it... turns out that the hotel accountant, was trying to steal from me by keeping my vacation pay cheque and lied for taxes as if he gave me the cheque. thankfully when i showed up, he seemed all awkward and embarrassed, cuz he got caught! he gave me my cheque
the other company, which i hadn't worked at for a long time (a group home for clients with a disability), they had issued me a cheque with retroactive pay, but they mailed it to my old address.... the bitch living in my old apartment STOLE MY CHEQUE AND CASHED IT!!! so yeah, i had to sign an affidavit and then the company reissued the cheque to me and the police got involved.

I can't find it anywhere. In fact, I think they took down their website. It comes up everywhere that it should be drainsplus.com but when you click on it it says "website coming soon" on a blank page. And literally EVERYWHERE says that this is their website. I scrolled through ALL the videos and couldn't find it anywhere, which if they ended up taking down their website or maybe changing the name some way, it would then also remove the video from the search engines. I also know that this is the correct company because it listed the owners name was Jeremy! I'm guessing Glamazons blew their shit up. Maybe now they'll realize it's not right to just mess with people who haven't done anything wrong to you and to use people for your advantages and steal property from them.

Listening to the full story, if you can somehow find out where the mother and daughter are, you have a stronger case. They should not run a company. They obviously are not up to code with HR policies. You most likely will save another young person that they could take advantage of.
