hey there I enjoy your show very much. I have purchased the circuit and have put it together. It's my first time building any type of circuit. I have it hooked to 12v but all the lights stay on, I have turned the dial and they all still burn. I am really not sure what I am doing incorrectly
+Jené DeSanté I can only suggest checking everything over, but if still an issue you can take a photo of both sides of the board and tweet them to me @backofficeshow
The Backoffice thanks so much! I will check it over. probably something tiny I am not seeing. I hope so though. It's near 2 in the morning (Souh Africa) going to retire for the evening! but thank you will keep you posted :D and thank you for the reply!
+Sten Erik i think i have watched every tutorial on youtube but everyone skipped the part where they do audio stuff, you are one of the only one who has really detailed video but when you play your video you have no sound, only leds are flashing
What if LEDs legs are same length or inverted? I only recognize the polarity looking into the inside: cathode (negative leg) has wider surface and a so-called semiconductor substrate "a funnel at the top, where current flows into and emits light" ;) Anyway, I have never failed. Also remember not ever test LEDs without resistor (200 ohm - 6k ohm, depending on voltage) in series, you will destroy every LED. The very very thin piece of wire inside will be lost. ua-cam.com/video/O6cHEj9y_YE/v-deo.html

The Backoffice I am enjoying your videos thoroughly, and have learnt so much!
+Jené DeSanté It is good to hear, I don't get huge numbers so never sure if it's useful to anyone, so always nice to hear feedback 😁

what is the J3 (con2) port?
I really would need help. Because its my project and i want to play music with it, but it has no sound. Please help
Hello good Morning . where is this 560 ohm resistor. he doesn't come in the kit
They replaced it by 2K1 resistor (new design). I have the same kit, it's mentioned in the chinese manual.
hey man i was wondering what do you do, to have output of music too?
+Sten Erik can you explain more detail on your requirement?
+The Backoffice thanks for reply! yes well how do you connect it with speakers and phone ( output and input ) at the same time?
+Sten Erik i think i have watched every tutorial on youtube but everyone skipped the part where they do audio stuff, you are one of the only one who has really detailed video but when you play your video you have no sound, only leds are flashing
+Sten Erik you can connect it to the output or input, but both at the same time will be tricky
+Sten Erik you can wire it to a headphone jack.
