Usual very entertaining show Ross, Tom, GRod and David - thanks very much. I suspect the at least one of the Irish horses will be too good for Edwardstone but would be great to see Alan King have a festival winner again. Those Coral specials are getting no better!

I take advice to follow your tips
May I suggest that the show is renamed 'Let's Run Sir Gerhard In The Supreme'? This theme appears to have been running longer than Coronation Street. There is a time to just give it up. When considering the merit of Segal perhaps you can give his paper tips for these races? It would just give people an indication of how often he has to switch to something else.
You might have asked Derham what was the point of wasting an entry fee on Monmiral for the Champion Hurdle if the intention was always to go to Aintree? Why mislead people? What's happened to Matterhorn who was a talking horse at the start of the season? Is he injured and the trainer just hasn't bothered to tell anyone?
What was so great about Journey With Me's Leopardstown win? No track seems far enough for the second, Kilcruit didn't stay and won a nothing race next time, and the pointer who was fourth was a search party job next time. He is a short price for the Ballymore on the basis people have been fooled into thinking he is the next Bob Olinger. Unless it is softer than usual he will be outpaced, and then De Bromhead will probably suggest he should have gone Albert Bartlett. He will only have himself to blame as he deliberately avoided two Graded races, the 2m6f race at the Dublin Festival, and the 3m race at Clonmel this week, in favour of easier pickings over a shorter trip.
I agree about Coeur Sublime. Given that the horse was second in a Triumph, was reasonably well fancied for a Champion Hurdle, and then gave Ferny Hollow a scare on chase debut, why would you prefer to run in a 20 runner cavalry charge rather than an ordinary looking Arkle which might have 7-8 runners? Surely the definition of madness?
Significantly, the blip on his three starts over fences, was without Blackmore on board. There is only one Arkle, if he isn't good enough he can go for the Grand Annual next year. His form is different class to Magic Daze.

Magic Daze ew the bet in Arkle. 4 places if decent size field on the day.
That was my last bet on the Arkle. It seems a bit skinny at the top of the market, and she ran some race whilst very keen last Cheltenham Festival.
Somebody is a Jonbon hater , Ground was awful , met trouble and won going away . im all over it , keep pushing that price out
guesswork at this stage because the big stables won't call it until last minute.
If Segal thinks Constitution Hill will win the Supreme why did he tip Sir Gerhard in the Racing Post and then never stop talking about how that horse should run in the Supreme rather than the Ballymore. At the time he made the selection Sir Gerhard was already a doubtful runner. It doesn't make any sense.

Asterion forlonge , if this horse runs in the stayers hurdle it will win 25/1 with unibet and only 6/1 skybet and many more bookies , if this willie Mullins trained horse does run in the stayers hurdle get on it , if it runs in the Ryanair or the gold cup forget about it GET ON IT ( STAYERS HURDLE)

Silver Forever and Gerri Colombe. Two horses who didn't appear amongst today's declarations despite being prominent in their respective markets. Nicholls and Elliott could easily have easily given updates, but instead they thought the better idea was treating punters with complete contempt. Yet all we will get from the media is how great Nicholls is. Total joke. As for Acheson he is a strong candidate for the most anonymous figure in racing. Have a look at his twitter feed it's about as bland as you can get. Pointless. Amazing that anyone would ever want to add a comment.

@@BitcoinMoney8 l have a feeling your right there. I would not be surprised if Shiskin is the only grade 1 winner the British get. The handicapper can't get to the Irish horses there.
