812 Without a doubt. The engine sounds better, revs way more freely, better ride quality etc.

I like both, something tells me for a twisty road or track you want the Ferrari, but for any other purpose, the Aston has it beat. Also, if you are just looking at numbers the Ferrari also beats the Aston.Something tells me though the Aston is the better grand-tourer and a bit more comfortable to live with. I'd be happy if I was gifted either though honestly😂 Also, the Ferrari is a decent bit more expensive, so I'm going to give the Aston a bit more credit in this respect too
Edit: Final point for the Aston is that it would be so fun to spec out from the factory, there are so many good color options (I think there's at least 30, and the interior options are absolutely insane as well)
Novitec 812's rival is definitely One 77. I hate this turbo v12.
With such power and torque figures, I was expecting a bit more oomph.
I stumbled upon this channel a few months ago. All i can say is wow! Frequency of content, a galaxy of incredible conveyances, expert driving skills, informative walk thrus.

One of my biggest pet peeves - digital speedoes with slow update frequencies :P Makes it feel like the car is lagging. 10hz should be the absolute minimum to make it feel like you are really rushing up through the numbers! My Raptor can do this, an Aston Martin certainly should ;)
High refresh rate is terrible when driving around a racetrack because impossible to read at a glance. Granted you dont really need to know the speed around a track but thats the reason most track cars have low hz speedos
You'd have no idea what the speedo was saying if the number changed so fast. The digital speedo is to get a precise number, since it's impossible to tell when the speedo goes to 300+
@@TheCHRISintheMIX Most motorbikes and quite a few cars have high refresh rate digital speedoes, I've never found them difficult to read. I'd argue that having the speedo update once a second with gaps in the 20+ kph range is worse.
@@kullsyreholdig01 Just read the needle buddy. Again, the digital is for daily driving. It's not going to jump 20 kph while daily diving
@@TheCHRISintheMIX Every modern race car has a digital speedo, with very fast refresh rates. Every modern sportsbike has the same. Neither have an analogue speedo. Works great, on road and on track. No reason to not make these things properly in this day and age - but then again this is an older Aston Martin so their electronics weren't exactly their strong point.

It's Aston Martin engine, not AMG. The V8 engine is AMG.
It's a Ford 2 V6s derived Aston's V12 engine.

DBS probably, because it's 2+2, a bit less flashy and cheaper. In case all the new DBS were gone, a 812 could be the choice without any complaints.

interior very underwhelming. not saying it has to be futuristic, but it looks very dull and boring place to be.
One of the weakest sounding V12 in production. The only other even less impressive sounding V12 was that of the BMW G11 M760Li.
Biturbo V12s never sound intimidating.
