I was born in the early 2000s and I love rainbow scratch paper. I grew up with watching those ads for blopens and different variants of the rainbow scratch paper, and the rainbow sand. Those were fun at the birthday parties
I hope it brings someone joy to know that the students at my job (I have 2nd graders born around 2016) LOVE rainbow scratch paper. They adore them, you can get them huddled around one sheet for a while.
I had rainbow art. Used that bitch for 10 years. It was totally worth the hype back in the day. Whatever brand eef is using isn't the original. The one I had was SUPER bright.
Now I'm wondering that if they came out with the machine powered blo pens sooner if we would have lost less brain cells from the sheer amount of air used

The last unicorn was a beautiful movie that explores unicorns being a real animal that all disappeared and there was only a last unicorn. I highly recommend it
The nostalgia in this video make me want to be a kid again!! I'm sure many of us could make lists of the toy's we grew up with. One of my favorites was the Doodle Bear, Next time I'm at the store, I'm buying something because I can. And no one's gonna stop me! 😆
ok but when ethan was drawing on the rainbow paper with the stencils and making up a whole violent dramatic story, that’s literally what i did as a kid lol
Goddamn, they don't even really make toy commercials anymore. I'm all for young people learning to use tech, but a child should not be able to the internet. Well, there's another problem, they keep telling children to play outside, my question is *where* exactly do you want them to play? In the trash and soot filled street?
7:58 It's actually very likely that the idea of a unicorn began when someone saw a rhinoceros and went home to tell people about a giant horse-like creature with a large horn on its head The 'questing beast' from Arthurian legend is also way too similar to a giraffe to be a coincidence

jackson pollock wishes he had even the tiniest fraction of eef's artistic talents, ethan's vortex art deserves to be in so many more museums
All of these are nostalgic to me and I was born in the late 2000s. I’m glad I wasn’t put in front of a tablet when I was younger, because I remember these were all so fun!
as an '05 baby that went to sunday school that's literally all they'd let us play with were those rainbow scratch cards and coloring pages. but when i got home, i'd play the real games. lining up my parents' empty alcohol bottles and playing bar tender with my literal baby brothers.
"I wasn't very good at making things up"... Just made up a whole life for this little man lol.
Now I'm wondering that if they came out with the machine powered blo pens sooner if we would have lost less brain cells from the sheer amount of air used

Omg I’m born in 2004 and I remember those rainbow art sponges! We had them in our school art room. I can’t believe I forgot about it, they are so good. I think Ethan got a dud or the pallet is just super dried up being over 20 years old
Back in MY day!!!! we made our own rainbow scratch paper. Actually, this video has inspired me to teach my students how to make their own rainbow scratch paper (to answer your question, Ethan, they DO still play with the pro stuff).
I had an art teacher do that with us in elementary school, it's good stuff
He pulled out the Rainbow Art kit and I just knew it was going to break his heart like it broke mine so many years ago lol
My damn ADHD brain....
'it's a horse with a horn....its a horn with a horn and a corndog but instead of the corn bone it's a hotdog...i miss Jenna"
Honestly, I have been away from your videos for a little while. I tend not to watch the game plays, but this was actually pretty funny to watch.
ok but when ethan was drawing on the rainbow paper with the stencils and making up a whole violent dramatic story, that’s literally what i did as a kid lol
Goddamn, they don't even really make toy commercials anymore. I'm all for young people learning to use tech, but a child should not be able to the internet. Well, there's another problem, they keep telling children to play outside, my question is *where* exactly do you want them to play? In the trash and soot filled street?
You simultaneously unlocked all my childhood memories of these commercials and killed all my kid like wonder over them all
7:58 It's actually very likely that the idea of a unicorn began when someone saw a rhinoceros and went home to tell people about a giant horse-like creature with a large horn on its head
The 'questing beast' from Arthurian legend is also way too similar to a giraffe to be a coincidence
Ethan, don’t worry, as someone born after 9/11, I can confirm I was also amazed by rainbow scratch paper and was absolutely obsessed as a child
