Made mistake number 1 during the Spark of Rebellion Prerelease, thereby winning a match I shouldn't have won, I'm so sorry. I will never forget the rules for Ambush.
I think it still is very common, even after all these months the game has been out for. Good thing is that most people admit it was a mistake (which is totally fine, who doesn't make mistakes after all) instead of trying to persuade you that it's the right way to utilize Ambush.
You are correct! Comprehensive rules on this state: "6.3.1. Declare the attack. The active player chooses and exhausts a ready unit they control and then chooses what to attack: either an enemy unit in the same arena as it or the opponent’s base"
Hey! Thanks for watching! If you do decide to resolve ambush, you have to ready & attack a unit. If you decide to ignore ambush, your unit will stay exhausted.
Be honest: How many of these mistakes have you fallen into? Are there any others that you have witnessed or committed?

When declaring an attack, do you need to declare your attack target? Like either nase or unit?

I've done No5 and No2 in the past. If you are reading this and you've played against me, I'm sorry :D
Question about ambush, can you bring a unit in ready. Not attack. Then next time it’s your turn attack a base?
No

@@Oneidos_Gaming thanks! Had no idea great video
@@Pastromi93 Glad you found it useful!
I wonder if most people getting no. 5 wrong come from MTG?
Quite possible! Then again, a huge chunk of SWU players have an MTG background.
