Perhaps Sparks most haunting song, and they've done lots of impressive work. Much as I loved FFS, this undiluted demo version drowns you in its darkness.
I have this album but somehow never caught this one by ear. Tonight via random song play comes this never heard before piece of brilliance. Then I showed up here and found an even better version.
Totally agree this is infinitely better than the album version. There's a demo version of Piss Off floating around. I may post it later if nobody else has.
I love Sparks like genuinely but I think both Piss Off and So Many Bridges got a massive improvement with FFS. The guitar sound they use here is just a bit too much I believe? Idk. But thanks for sharing!!
It's so far from Sparks that it's obvious they didn't make this for a Sparks album. The message is clear, don't make a mess of your life that your friends have to help solve TOO many times. Learn your lesson or lose your friends. They too are humans, you know. Well spoken words. ("What The Hell Is It This Time?? 😠" 😉)
LOL, the pictures referencing Franz Ferdinand are a bit off the mark, considering that they had nothing to do with this recording. Sparks wrote and recorded this as well as "Piss Off", and sent them off to FF for proposed collaboration. And we seem to have consensus that this song only got messed up when FF got involved. (On the other hand, I'd say the FFS version of Piss Off is a big improvement.)
Well aware FF had nothing to do with the demo recording. It is a demo for FFS though so the FF pics were included intentionally. Did you enjoy the video?

Could not have said it better myself, Ally

Превосходно!
This is my favourite song from FFS. I love the album version, but this is pretty awesome too.
Best song of the record
Did you know this is a demo recorded by Ron & Russell in 2007? I think it's so much better than the album version.
I fucking love this!!! ❤️
Thank you, Jenn!
This version is utterly amazing. Can't get enough of it!
Wow, this is definitely better than the album version. Do you have other demos from the album?

@@AtiqZabinski,
'Piss Off' is now available on (at least) the triple CD of the "Past Tense, the best of Sparks" issue, as song 13 on disc 3.
@annabackman3028 Damn, I have the two cd version and now I find out there is a three disc version??
@@petabulmer3317 Yeah, sorry 🤷

My second favorite after collaboration don’t work in this FFS unique album.

The same one, yes ;)
Sparks best love them or die die I say by the way this is a cool song!

Love the music! It's so much better than the FFS version. Thanks for sharing!
Sparks should have collaborated with Clinic. Ferdinand is the worst band in England.
