I loved the powerpulse systems from Adidas, they worked (in the sense that they changed the feel dramatically). I feel the dynamic powerpulse actually worked minimally as well
So Akuna Cinquestelle have come out with many boots. But i was wondering if you were ever going to review the Akuna cinquestelle "Toro". It is a buffalo leather boot!
Hey Josh, I remember growing up and all the boots had the removable metal studs. Any idea why manufacturers moved away from this idea? One of my favourite things to do as a kid was to get out my stud tightener and and put new studs on
I bought the blur carbon 3 a while back based on the review you gave them. To this day I will say they are the best boots I’ve ever worn. Still have them in my closet with some reflective SR4U laces on them always ready if I need them.
In a meeting regarding the making of the under armour zipper boot, one of the scientists sitting at the table closed the zipper if his pants.... and said:"I got an incredible idea!....."
I remember when the blue carbon III was around it came out in a green leather colorway that was stunning, if they fixed the sizing and the lacing it would be in the top 10 best boots
Wish you had discussed the Axler rod on the Diadoras. I remember Diadora saying it was an aluminum alloy rod that was supposed to help the sole plate spring back when flexed thus propelling you when you began to run. I can’t think of another type of tech that made that claim by adding a non plastic piece to the sole plate. I had several pairs of the Maracanas and I never felt that the Axler rod propelled me, but I did feel that it it kept the sole plate from becoming too flimsy. Also, those blades studs lasted forever.
It was a unique way of adding stiffness and structure to a plastic soleplate. I thought it did it's job well, but it didn't really feel particularly special either.
I think the dynamic power pulse don’t work at all because fisics won’t let it work like adidas think. When you swing to kick it, the powder actually stay at the initial point, and only would increase speed by moving to the front of the shoe when you start decreasing speed of your movement, obviusly after you already kicked the ball. One example is to flip a water bottle, the water stays at the bottom (I’m brazillian, so don’t mind if I misspelled something please)
Last time I went shoe shopping, the soccer shoes were everywhere. I actually considered if I could wear them in real life, they were so cheap. Like $10-20 for brand name cheap. anyone ever wear an old pair just for everyday wear?
I like them a lot, but I don't think they're iconic, and I don't think UA is in a position to re-release any of their boots at this point. The popularity just isn't there. They could bring them back, but the vast majority of people would have no clue that they even existed in the first place.
It's a similar idea in the sense that it's a moving stud, but ultimately a very different technology with different claims as well. It worked out better for Nike unsurprisingly, but you could argue that Nike also did it better, even though it was kind of useless, just like the Diadora tech. At least the Nike Sense Stud didn't break.
It's the end of the season, and they're playing some of the most important matches of the year. Changes into brand new boots is likely not something he wants to do. Messi also doesn't seem to like changing his boots as it is.
hey Josh, I recently measured my arch and found out it was a high arch. I bought the high arch Currex Cleatpro insoles. My left foot is really good, but I feel the right insole on my right arch. Is there any way I can fix this and do you know what the cause of this is? (weird walking technique, unsymmetrical feet?)
Hey. I have some SUPER skinny feet to the point that even a mercurial doesnt at all sit tight on the medial side. And im the smallest size i can... What do i do?
"But UnderArmour did not invent the zipper, they simply brought shame to the zipper." Amazing!!
That One Yehia 😂
Is it good that I made the zipper noise before it happened?
Same fam
Literally one of my favorite UA-camrs keep up the good work Jenkins

So their is a bayblade on the bottom of your cleats??
It's actually a fidget spinner.
It's actually spelled beyblade
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Johnny it's a beyblade because there better than fidget spinners

ive never played soccer in my life but i just watch your vids because i love shoes and wanna learn about all kinds of them
I had the Lotto’s myself, they were very comfortable but within maybe two matches the rotating stud got some debris inside so they stopped rotating 😅
So Akuna Cinquestelle have come out with many boots. But i was wondering if you were ever going to review the Akuna cinquestelle "Toro". It is a buffalo leather boot!

They still make Soft Ground boots.
Before I clicked, I already knew that the Under Armor zipper boot would show up somewhere 😂 ...
Joo the sand... i first was thinking the yellow was the sand 😂😂🤣🤣

Januck, get your hands on some Diadora Morphos! SG with their movable studs, and FG with their 11 stud configurable soleplate.
that toe punt skit made me lolz to tears. we have all played with that guy
Use to play this guy we called, Joe the Toe. lol
Jimothy:
Laces are the most amazing technology
Me: what about ACC?!!
I remember when the blue carbon III was around it came out in a green leather colorway that was stunning, if they fixed the sizing and the lacing it would be in the top 10 best boots
Nike should make a line of laceless boots called the 'No Strings Attached' pack.
Kevin Peres then they can’t be made of flyknit either.
@@jlee-li3dn it would be made of flyNOT
Jib: makes fun of spotlight 2.0
Under Amour: Y u bully me
Josh you should make a top 5 indoor shoes

Another great video from Jimbo :))
Those under armour boots are soooooo sick, have you, or would a video on them talking about potential remake?
I want a pair so bad
lmao
These are the coolest boots I have ever seen
"Under Armor did not invent the zipper. They simply brought shame to the zipper." Actually laughed out loud at that one!
Predators were pretty sick back in the day, but my favorite boot was umbro deep fade, nothing too fancy, just a quality boot.
Jahsen what are the best boots on the market now?
I had those powder predator boots, and I could swear that my shots improved using them. Although let be honest it was probably all a placebo.

If anyone is wondering what Tungsten is, it is used be the German military in tank rounds, it is basically what they use instead of depleted uranium.
Try the new concave accuracy boot
He’s never gonna let the under armor zipper die😂
But jossi boshi what about flynot??
I think we need a new video about the the best inventions in soccer number 1 SR4U laces very good quality.

Jenkins you should do a best/worst, favorite and least favorite boots by brand 👀👀
I remember I really wanted a pair of the lottos cause of that stud idk why I thought it was sooo cool
Nomis did different boot uppers for wet or dry control which kinda meant you needed two pairs of boots. Did this idea work?
ohhh man the twist & go concept kinda scares me ahaha my torn acl’s don’t like the word twist😳
I feel sorry for Diadora, but I'm glad to see that they are still making some quality Made in Italy leather boots.
I remember how much Josh praised the blue carbon 3s. I wanted them so bad but they were too expensive. Id find way better deals on high end mercurials
Is that Lotto boot laceless?
Oh Yh
Yes sir.
8:12 is legit hilarious as hell 😂😂😂😂
josh can you make a video over what boot YOU like the most and whits boot YOU think is comfortabel.
Thanks Jabawockes, very cool video.

What’s better?
adidas X 15.1 or
Nike Mercurial Vapor 12 Pro
One of my first ever pairs of boots was a pair of Lotto’s with the spinning stud lol
Great vid keep it up
The Toe shoes are SOOOO bad!! HAHA
Thank you for saying football
Why didn't you mention the Under Armour Blur Carbon 3 in Episode 14 of the BootNerds Podcast? 🤔

Number 3 is actually a godly invention
You should try use diadora boots with net breathing system on an AG field on a hot day, that technology actually works.
Try reviewing nivia dominator. Nivia is an Indian brand. They kind of do have good boots on market.
Hey Jamaica, what are your favorite football boots
this man needed a calculator to find out 5% of 50 is 2.5
Good work jerry
I honestly thought he was talking about football not soccer and now I understand why he was making such a big deal about the toe point thing
Those spring loaded ones would ad extra strain to your calves other than the fact they would block instantly
Puma ecopwer. The one that bends so that you have more power. Bought those dang things. They sucked.
0:24 killed me already 😂
Adidas Nemeziz 18.1 or Nike Mercurial Vapor Elite
newest football boots seems not to have a lot of protection to the foot. it seems like your feet will hurt hitting the ball
Thanks josh

Hi Joshavoli Do u actually think Nike and adidas can actually make a GOOD boot with a ZIPPER????
the answer is in your name
wow does gold predstors are nice
I loved the look of the powerswerves but the moving sand is the dumbest idea ever
Can’t wait for the Joma Zipper Max ACC
I use the outside of my foot to dribble and for a lot of passing, those UA boots would bother me probably

The fact that Nike stole the sense stud tech from diadora is actually surprising

the only market ive ever really seen under armor succeed is American football.

Question: Why is messi wearing the nemeziz 18.1 instead of the newly released 19.1
Yesterday he wore 18.1s
It's the end of the season, and they're playing some of the most important matches of the year. Changes into brand new boots is likely not something he wants to do. Messi also doesn't seem to like changing his boots as it is.
The punt thing works

They either just don't fit the one foot properly, or you need to get used to how they feel.
Twist n go isnt for what you say. It was for strikers. In order to keep the momentum from the start of rhe kick
Nope. Look it up.
powerswerve tungsten powder was really stupid
Power pulse or no the power swerves are the best boot ever made, it’s all gone downhill from there
Juju's videos should be a netflix series.
The under armor ones were like a mix of a nemiziz 18.1 and cop 19.1
I was thinking that too Daniel Tafur
Hey Josh, I’m looking to buy a pair of nemeziz for under $150 CAD. I was wondering if you could recommend a model that’s worth it.
The 17.1 or 18.1 models are solid boots.
I loved my predator absolutes
What are the best studs to buy?
Jahid deserves to be at a million sub and the millionth sub will be under armour

Hey. I have some SUPER skinny feet to the point that even a mercurial doesnt at all sit tight on the medial side. And im the smallest size i can... What do i do?
I would try some boots that don't have a one-piece upper. You'll likely end up with a better fit if your feet are that narrow.
Josh should learn the toe punt better😂
Yo Jose when is the nemeziz 19 review coming
Hoping to have all of the new Adidas stuff this week. Stay tuned!
