I recently purchased the red dial, 3 hand version and it is a great watch. I am very impressed with the watch. The finishing is exceptional for the price point.

Thanks for the video. I like purple, especially the combination purple and red is one of my favorites, there’s something about that textured dial and those colors that I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen, it’s mesmerizing! Sadly…I never wear anything that would go with this watch. I hope they make it in blue, it would look ocean like.

Thanks Chris. Recently received my first SM watches: the reviewed watch but with the aventurine dial and full brushed centerlink bracelet (truly awesome watch all around); and your “on-wrist “ but on the orange rubber/silicone strap (another great SM surprise).

The SN-0118-G is a really solid, original SM design! True story, while listening to you, I was looking at the 118. While I appreciate the GMT, I'm not a fan of stainless bezels (including Rollers).

Most of affordable watches are made in chinese factories like San Martin and many high quality ones. So I am not wondering why we have better prices from the source without the premium of the well known watches .

I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MaMaCoo 's watches are the most intriguing.

Reviewers keep being amazed by the price of Chinese watches…Maybe they should have in mind that 250 USD is a monthly salary for many Chinese.
Value is subjective, depends where you’re living.

The purple-red is an odd combo for me personally but the watch overall kicks ass. I think I may need to dip my toes into the San Martin lineup soon. They’re getting hard to ignore at this point.

I wish san martin would use miyota movements instead of the cheap seiko NH movements, but it's easy enough to mod in there so whatever. This is a beautiful watch. The bracelet taper is perfect

Beautiful watch and great video, but personally I don't like the San Martin branding and usually all aliexpress brands Brodery, Heimdaler, Lige, Pagani, tandorio..Addiesdive..Hruodland(?)Glenaw ..
I would rather prefer a chinese watch with a name like Beijing Watch Company, Wang Design, Li Atelier, Maison Wu, Liu Watch, Shanghai Time, etc..

Chris has gone all Ali Express. Let’s hear it for sane watch prices. Just went to the Windup in Chicago and the prices are eye-watering and frankly ridiculous. Christopher Ward in particular is now out of reach for most of us living on a budget and would rather pay the rent than buy one of their watches.
My c63 Sealander was $795, plus tax. Is that out of reach? Its not much different than it was 3 years ago

You do know that San martin doesn’t have anything,no responibility towards the customers, no massive army of people which all are working just to delivere that same watch on your door step, no,distribution.warehouses, AD’s,warranty centers,marketing, various agencies,shipping companies,service centers,PR companies and manny many more.This is why you can have 200€ san martin with ceramic and saphire while Seiko profit margin on 600€ watch is miserable considering army of people which all needs to be payed!!

The case and bracelet is exceptional that’s what I hear, good value for the money. On some videos it’s compared to a Rolex bracelet and case. In some cases is a better finish than Rolex bracelet and case. San Martin are giving you a whole watch for a fraction of the price of a Rolex. Obviously, the movement in a Rolex is more sophisticated. When you take out the commercial side of the business what are you paying for in a Rolex. Can some one explain.

To get the same specs from seiko would cost minimum 4 or 5 times the price and it would still be inferior to the San Martin. I can already feel the seiko fanboys losing their 💩 because they can't handle the truth.
You can keep your superfluous brand heritage I'd rather have a good watch.

This watch is so so so close but I really don't like this handset that they keep putting on everything. I know it's such a small nitpick but they just feel so generic.

I love my bronze SM and I have watches that cost $2,500-$4,000 so I just like a good watch regardless of price. I can't think of a use for a GMT though but love this watch, definitely Grand Seiko homage. Thanks Chris for sharing good, affordable watches, with the World!
