if you haven't looked into a wet/stainless steel tumber yet it will save some time on the tumbling for you. I generally universal decap the nasty brass and then wet tumble for a couple of hours. after they dry (30 min in a preheated but off oven at 200 degrees) I lube and size. 30 min in corn cob/Nufinish vibratory tumbler removes the lube and gives it a nice shine/protectant. the stainless steel tumbler gets the inside of the cases and primer pockets looking like new brass. great videos by the way.

Hey Neil, thanks for the advice on the stainless media... I have been thinking about trying it out but the wet brass had me concerned. I didn't even think about cooking it to dry it! I'll have to try it. As far as the IsoHeet every where I've looked say it is 99% with 1% proprietary... So if you've found 99% at your drug store I'd say you're good to go!

I use the same product and have never had a stuck case with it unlike One-Shot. I bought 99% isopropyl alcohol and the liquid lanolin oil from Amazon. I was a little but unsure if there were any other chemicals in the HEET, but when I run out in another 10 years I'll look into it.

I also wet tumble after de priming and sizing. Gets the lube off. I have saved my Dillon lube bottle and am going to try your recipe, Thank You.
