Wonderful video. I've handled firearms most of my life, ignoring air guns as "toys." (Grew up in the kiddie pellet gun era). They're not kiddie toys any more (we knew they weren't "toys" by any means. Now, with improved air speeds and the .22 pellets, I'm saving for my own. I've developed my sense of prepping, so this is perfect for my needs. I can travel to almost all 48 contiguous states with an airgun (the gun I want has a 975 fps, Il. only allows airguns with 700fps.) Would like to see a vid of a demo of the home cast pellets.

Do you heat you mold/s for better filling and less of a chance of an air bubble in the casting process.

The FX brand are JSBs, bro - as well as AirArms, Daystate, Cometa... all manufactured by JSB. Just buy JSB in .22 - my rifle (Walther MaximaThor) loves the 5.51 mm - it´s shooting 1/2" groups at 50 yards with those pellets (JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13 grain as well as JSB Jumbo 15.9 grain).

Can you comment on accuracy of these pellets e.g. 30 yd groupings

Is this really worth the time and effort when they aren’t that expensive to buy.

My thought on creating this video was thinking about the possibility we couldn’t get pellets… Could they be made? The pellets we can get commercially are superior and probably more accurate, but I love the idea that I can make pallets if needed.

does the work well in the gas spring air rifles?

Not sure I guess it would depend on the barrel... The FX has a smooth bore with a twist type riffling at the end. Very accurate.
