I actually played this House of the Dead predecessor on SNK 40TH ANNIVERSARY on my Nintendo Switch and occasionally replay it during October (near Halloween). 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟
It came out in 1989......so most middle age and young people have never seen it as until the SNK 40th anniversary came out a few years ago, there was no way to play it. I'm nearing retirement and I was barely out of high school when this game came out.......

I looked it up from the USA to see the same thing lol. I played it in the arcades a long time ago, and I'm glad the SNK collection includes it, although playing with controller isn't quite as good.

And you can press the tiny red button at the front to throw grenade right. Were you playing at the arcade in Ang Mo Kio? I was like 5 - 6 years old when I play this game, Battle Shark and Golly! Ghost!

Van Dyke Sports Center had this cabinet once. They always had the best Roms in the 80s and 90s.
This was at my skating rink for like 15 years next to Turtle in Time. I blew through so much money on those as a kid lol.
So this was before HOTD? Cool. Never saw this game before.

Nothing was better than seeing this game near Splatterhouse, totally blew my 9yo mind.

Ah, the days BEFORE zombies were completely played out. Game was even better for those of us who were Romero fans before it was cool.
