If you want to go kind of in order I suggest the dance versions of Juliette and Hello. Be careful with live performances especially tv appearances and Japanese owned videos. @@MONQTV Many of their great songs don't have mv..so please react to more of their live performances..they were highly praised for it all these years even by the big names in the industry...they used to jogs and exercise while singing to keep up their stamina and they have done much harder choreos while singing lives..they were just chilling in this one..reactions to shinee concert performances are safe.. unfortunately there are no guide videos of them that I'm fully satisfied with yet though some are really good.. it's only because each members are multi talented and to fit everything would make the video too long.

@@MONQTV They're known for singing live and doing their full dance, from what I remember of that concert you watched is they weren't really planning on doing the whole dance (I think tbh they're tired of doing the SAME performance of Replay, since it's been like 11 years haha. Key especially). They're known for being CD-Idols, which, means they sound just as good live as they do on CD's :) Check out Sherlock! That is a good stage, or Lucifer. They also have a performance where they are all blindfolded too.
Bruh. SHINee is now and has always been the BUSINESS. Singing, rapping, dancing, personality, stage presence, and dipping into multiple genres. So You're right SJames after checking out another Live of done just yesterday, matter of fact there were two and they sure as well did the entire song with full dance. So this statement I made regarding how difficult it would be to do a full routine and still stay in breath was wrong. That will remind me that when I'm wrong I'm wrong. Fun fact, SHINee are actually known for their lives performances. They even garnered the name "CD-dols" meaning their performances sound just like their album recordings, despite their famously difficult choreo. The replay performance you watched was done at the end of their SHINee World concert, which is usually around 3 hours, explaining why they took it chill with the choreo :) Normally, they go extremely hard with their lives. No one ever recommends Dream Girl, but that was the song that made me fall in love with Jonghyun and SHINee. Also Lucifer because of Jonghyun’s adlibs. I always feel people miss the adlibs in their songs. Jonghyun was everything.

The intro video to their live performance was literally the video from SHINee's very first ever debut stage on a music program. So yes they were young -- Onew and Jonghyun were 18, Minho and Key were 16 and Taemin was 14. However, this performance was in 2015 at their SHINee World Concert IV. This song means so much to SHINee and SHINee World (SHINee fans or Shawols for short) that everyone was very emotional during this stage. And, yes, of course they were singing live. SHINee doesn't know how to do anything else. :D I know for a fact that SHINee would have sounded exactly the same if they were dancing the choreo full out. They chose not to dance the full choreography because they perform this song at every concert and almost every live appearance they ever do. So fans know the dance like the back of our hand and we don't need to see it every time. So to switch it up they kind of just freestyled this performance. Once you see more of their concert performances, you will see it has nothing to do with not having stable vocals. Because SHINee can literally dance at full power with very complex choreography and sing just as perfect as you heard them here and they do it for 3+ hours straight. That is what they are known for and it's why they are so highly respected by their peers. The standard every idol in the industry strives to reach is the SHINee standard. SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. You really should check out some more of their live performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. So, that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends.

The Nuna (the older girl SHINee have a crush on that they are singing to) in the "Replay" MV is the leader of their sister group***. Her name is Victoria and she is from the group F(x). This MV came out more than a year before F(X) debuted so this was Victoria even before debut. (Funny thing is Victoria is native Chinese and she says she was still learning Korean during this time and she could barely even say SHINee.) Victoria was so perfect in this role because she is a few years older than any of the SHINee members so she fit well as the lead actress in this MV. As the song says, 'Nunan neomu yeppeo .... replay, replay, replay ...." In other words they are saying "pretty older woman I really like you and I think you like me too ... every time I see you I need a replay of the moment over and over again in my head." Nunan neomu yeppeo is a Korean term that essentially means "Pretty older woman" Yeppeo is a term that means beautiful that is only used by guys to describe a beautiful woman that is older than them. There really isn't a literal translation of the term so that is why the song is called "Replay" in English. But in Korean it is called "Nuna neomu yeppeo." That's why if you watch SHINee on a lot of variety shows and TV programs the older women in the show often ask SHINee to sing this song to them. ***Groups are considered sister/brother groups to each other when they are groups who are under the same label who usually debut within a few years or less of each other and they are usually groups that are similar in size (number of members), the members are all close in age, and they often have similar concepts and music styles. For example, SHINee and F(x) are both SM Entertainment groups, they debuted within a year of each other, they both are 5 member groups (Now 4 member groups ;( ) and they have similar music styles and concepts, etc. This song is literally considered one of the best debut songs of all time for any Kpop artist because its so timeless and it never goes out of style or sounds outdated no matter how old it gets. This song makes all the women swoon.

Like I often remind people who are new to Kpop, when watching these older MVs you have to put everything in context of when it was released. This song was actually ahead of its time in 2008 when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of their's will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends, never following them. Nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same and yet somehow it will always sound like SHINee. So when you put it all into perspective its super impressive and shows just how talented even as teenagers SHINee were. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their live concert footage.
Can you believe that SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group? Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular in 2008 when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. Can you imagine if the world never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today? Things would be so different. May 25, 2019 was SHINee's 11th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger then most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than most other groups such as EXO and BTS, etc.which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry. SHINee debuted in 2008 when Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now after 11 years they are all in their late to mid-20s. (Onew just turned 30 in December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. The group is currently on hiatus right now because 3 of the members are fulfilling their military obligations. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best vocals in the industry. His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch or ever being off key, etc. His record still stands today. Onew is currently serving in the military. He is part of the military's promotional team so he is spending a lot of time as a stage actor alongside several other idols who are also serving in the military right now. Jonghyun is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work , including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. Key is serving in the military right now as well. He is part of the military band. Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out. but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc,, as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. He currently is serving in the military and is a member of an elite branch of the Marines. And as you now know, Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, both young and old. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Micheal Jackson. As you can see by their "Replay" MV, even at 14, Taemin was one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know them better you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. As a Shawol (a SHINee fan) I tell people that once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of people. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of their's. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".

Jonghyun is crying there because he sees the girls wearing birthday hats, the fans did in every concert something special for them and on this day they put those birthday hats to celebrate their anniversary during their first song Replay, the hats are the color of Shinee and red but at the same time those colors red and blue meant Kkolgal- kon or the name of their concert which was the SWC4 in Korean... when Jjong sees it he got so touched he cried...
Shinee is such a great group to explore, their music styles through out their 11 years is so vast and interesting, the members them selfs have such humble and great personalities as well as all be multi talented and their dance moves are so of the best the the industry !
Jonghyun yanked my butt into the Kpop Nation ten years ago with this song. His vocals and personality hooked me and stole my heart. (I still cry when I think about him.) SHINee has said they had to learn how to sing while dancing because all 5 of them were horrible at lipsyncing. They advised EXO early in their careers to practice singing while running on the treadmill, "As soon as you can run and hold steady vocals, you're ready to debut."

Shinee is such a wonderful group. I'm not really a fan of kpop music, but I really love them. I would recommend not only to listen to their most successful songs, but also to songs like "orgel". It's one of my favourite songs because of its creepy lyrics. 😉

yes SHINee!! My boys, they're the group that got me into kpop (my best friend of over 10 years basically forced me to watch shinee's hello baby season back in 2012 and I was hooked). Fun Fact! SHINee were basically babies when they debuted and (to my understanding) Taemin was one of the youngest to debut at the time, Taemin was 14 and Onew, who's the oldest, was only 18. (now it feels like all idols are debuting at like 12 I swear, I feel so old because there are so many idols younger than me and I'm only 21) There are a few good guides, a personal favorite of mine is "a very shinee guide" because it's relatively short but is a good quick intro to each member and their talents. Another would be a "not so unhelpful guide to shinee" which I've seen others comment also.

Thank you for the reaction, btw the dancing here is subtle because this was performed after a bunch of hard core performances towards the end of a 3 hour concert :) SHINee’s vocals are good as their dancing. When you watch their live performances, you will know. They can do both, singing live and dancing hardcore .. very very well. They are kings of performing live ^^

Oh trust me. Shinee is able to do this routine full throttle and sing like that. You just ended up choosing a live of this song that they performed during the encore section of a 3-4h concert, so they are spent and in chill mode (as they usually are during encore performances). But really I don't need to tell you this cause sooner or later during this series you will see them do it yourself - hardcore dancing + crazy vocals that is. ;-) As a Shawol I am so happy you're doing this. I love watching people experiencing SHINee for the first time, I sometimes wish I could erase my memory and do that all over again cause it is such a ride.

Shinee is one of my first k-pop groups. It's been twelve years now and I'm so happy to see people react to them even now. They always did such amazing music. Thanks for the reaction. I would love to see you reacting to some F(x)'s music. A 5 member girl group, debuted just one year later than Shinee. Shinee's sister group. Back then a lot of people used to say that F(x) were the female version of Shinee. Their debut song was "La cha Ta". 🙏🏼

SHINee was the first group that got me into Kpop and why I stayed (I do enjoy other groups though). They're quite unique and have done SO many different kinds of music. They're all very genuine and nice guys. Taemin is my bias. Tbh, I love dancers and even pre-debut he was just...phemonial. Imo, hands down the best dancer in the business. You started reacting to NCT so I thought you weren't gonna do SHINee, but you are! For guides there is A very SHINee guide which I like because it also talks about their music in general and it's one of the most recent, there's also a Not so unhelpful guide to SHINee which focuses only on the members if I remember correctly. Although Taemin began his solo career first, actually Jonghyun, Key and Onew also have solo albums. For Jonghyun he actualy has a 5 albums and he also wrote a book. Key and Onew released their albums right before going to the army. I really hope you will eventually react to Jonghyun's solo music because it's so diverse and idk how to say it but it feels so close to my heart, I think you will really appreciate it.

I've just discovered your channel because you're doing SHINee videos. Subscribed and notified. SHINee are my faves even over BTS and Ateez. In my not at all humble opinion, Jonghyun was the best singer in Kpop. And Taemin is the best dancer, despite the magnificence of EXO's Kai and the skills of BTS's Jimin. Ten and WinWin are also very fine dancers. Taemin, Kai, and Ten are now all three part of the new and maybe temporary group, SuperM. The other three members of SHINee are doing their required military service now, which is probably why Taemin is free to join SuperM. All of SHINee are excellent singers and dancers. Such talents. I love em all. Jonghyun was and still is my ultimate bias. I'm lookin forward to seeing you discover them in depth. I see in the comments that you're in med school. Good on ya, sir; we need you.

As an SM Trash (someone who loves SM Entertainment groups) I'm so happy you're doing Shinee after EXO. I hope you'll get the time to explore Super Junior and TVXQ as well. They're basically the groups who paved the way for other SM groups and even KPop groups now to a global audience. If you want to go kind of in order I suggest the dance versions of Juliette and Hello. Be careful with live performances especially tv appearances and Japanese owned videos. Shinee World concerts are pretty safe i think because I see many reactions. SWC III. IV and V all have amazing content. Thanks!

@@MONQTV Many of their great songs don't have mv..so please react to more of their live performances..they were highly praised for it all these years even by the big names in the industry...they used to jogs and exercise while singing to keep up their stamina and they have done much harder choreos while singing lives..they were just chilling in this one..reactions to shinee concert performances are safe.. unfortunately there are no guide videos of them that I'm fully satisfied with yet though some are really good.. it's only because each members are multi talented and to fit everything would make the video too long.

So You're right SJames after checking out another Live of done just yesterday, matter of fact there were two and they sure as well did the entire song with full dance. So this statement I made regarding how difficult it would be to do a full routine and still stay in breath was wrong. That will remind me that when I'm wrong I'm wrong. Fun fact, SHINee are actually known for their lives performances. They even garnered the name "CD-dols" meaning their performances sound just like their album recordings, despite their famously difficult choreo. The replay performance you watched was done at the end of their SHINee World concert, which is usually around 3 hours, explaining why they took it chill with the choreo :) Normally, they go extremely hard with their lives. I look forward to all your future reactions! They're a great group!

No one ever recommends Dream Girl, but that was the song that made me fall in love with Jonghyun and SHINee. Also Lucifer because of Jonghyun’s adlibs. I always feel people miss the adlibs in their songs. Jonghyun was everything.

The intro video to their live performance was literally the video from SHINee's very first ever debut stage on a music program. So yes they were young -- Onew and Jonghyun were 18, Minho and Key were 16 and Taemin was 14. However, this performance was in 2015 at their SHINee World Concert IV. This song means so much to SHINee and SHINee World (SHINee fans or Shawols for short) that everyone was very emotional during this stage. And, yes, of course they were singing live. SHINee doesn't know how to do anything else. :D I know for a fact that SHINee would have sounded exactly the same if they were dancing the choreo full out. They chose not to dance the full choreography because they perform this song at every concert and almost every live appearance they ever do. So fans know the dance like the back of our hand and we don't need to see it every time. So to switch it up they kind of just freestyled this performance. Once you see more of their concert performances, you will see it has nothing to do with not having stable vocals. Because SHINee can literally dance at full power with very complex choreography and sing just as perfect as you heard them here and they do it for 3+ hours straight. That is what they are known for and it's why they are so highly respected by their peers. The standard every idol in the industry strives to reach is the SHINee standard.
SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. You really should check out some more of their live performances because their stages are like none other. Their concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform nonstop and never sound out of tune or out of breath. They are also one of the best dancers in Kpop and they have some of the best harmonies you will ever hear. If you know EXO, then you know how good of vocalists they are, well the members of SHINee actually were mentors to a lot of the EXO members and they helped coach them in their singing. The EXO members and SHINee members are all around the same age and they were in the same trainee classes together, and yet SHINee debuted 4 years before EXO. So, that just goes to show you a little bit of what makes SHINee so amazing and why they are considered legends.

The Nuna (the older girl SHINee have a crush on that they are singing to) in the "Replay" MV is the leader of their sister group***. Her name is Victoria and she is from the group F(x). This MV came out more than a year before F(X) debuted so this was Victoria even before debut. (Funny thing is Victoria is native Chinese and she says she was still learning Korean during this time and she could barely even say SHINee.) Victoria was so perfect in this role because she is a few years older than any of the SHINee members so she fit well as the lead actress in this MV. As the song says, 'Nunan neomu yeppeo .... replay, replay, replay ...." In other words they are saying "pretty older woman I really like you and I think you like me too ... every time I see you I need a replay of the moment over and over again in my head." Nunan neomu yeppeo is a Korean term that essentially means "Pretty older woman" Yeppeo is a term that means beautiful that is only used by guys to describe a beautiful woman that is older than them. There really isn't a literal translation of the term so that is why the song is called "Replay" in English. But in Korean it is called "Nuna neomu yeppeo." That's why if you watch SHINee on a lot of variety shows and TV programs the older women in the show often ask SHINee to sing this song to them.
***Groups are considered sister/brother groups to each other when they are groups who are under the same label who usually debut within a few years or less of each other and they are usually groups that are similar in size (number of members), the members are all close in age, and they often have similar concepts and music styles. For example, SHINee and F(x) are both SM Entertainment groups, they debuted within a year of each other, they both are 5 member groups (Now 4 member groups ;( ) and they have similar music styles and concepts, etc.
This song is literally considered one of the best debut songs of all time for any Kpop artist because its so timeless and it never goes out of style or sounds outdated no matter how old it gets. This song makes all the women swoon.
You just witnessed baby SHINee and were already blown away, just imagine what it will be like as you go through their discography and MVs. They have 12 full-length albums (6 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS, they each have solo songs and albums and there are hundreds of live performances that will absolutely leave you speechless with their talent. And it only gets more and more impressive as you follow them through their career. They have accomplished a lot in the past 11 years and they are one of the groups that made Kpop what it is today.
SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups as trendsetters. Like I often remind people who are new to Kpop, when watching these older MVs you have to put everything in context of when it was released. This song was actually ahead of its time in 2008 when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of their's will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends, never following them. Nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same and yet somehow it will always sound like SHINee. So when you put it all into perspective its super impressive and shows just how talented even as teenagers SHINee were. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their live concert footage.
Can you believe that SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group? Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular in 2008 when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. Can you imagine if the world never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today? Things would be so different.
May 25, 2019 was SHINee's 11th anniversary. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet they are younger then most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than most other groups such as EXO and BTS, etc.which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry.
SHINee debuted in 2008 when Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now after 11 years they are all in their late to mid-20s. (Onew just turned 30 in December) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry.
The group is currently on hiatus right now because 3 of the members are fulfilling their military obligations.
Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best vocals in the industry. His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch or ever being off key, etc. His record still stands today.
Onew is currently serving in the military. He is part of the military's promotional team so he is spending a lot of time as a stage actor alongside several other idols who are also serving in the military right now.
Jonghyun is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed over 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc., as well as participated in several movie and drama OSTs. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work , including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer.
As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time.
Key is our diva and fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to standout. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized.
Key is serving in the military right now as well. He is part of the military band.
Minho is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out. but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc,, as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win.
He currently is serving in the military and is a member of an elite branch of the Marines.
And as you now know, Taemin is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, both young and old. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Micheal Jackson. As you can see by their "Replay" MV, even at 14, Taemin was one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances.
SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know them better you will wonder how it was even possible that you couldn't tell them apart. As a Shawol (a SHINee fan) I tell people that once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of people. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of their's. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".

Jonghyun yanked my butt into the Kpop Nation ten years ago with this song. His vocals and personality hooked me and stole my heart. (I still cry when I think about him.)
SHINee has said they had to learn how to sing while dancing because all 5 of them were horrible at lipsyncing. They advised EXO early in their careers to practice singing while running on the treadmill, "As soon as you can run and hold steady vocals, you're ready to debut."

Replay is the debut song of SHINee in 2008. The oldest member is Onew and is 18 years old in 2008. Youngest member Taemin is 14 years old on 2008
yes SHINee!! My boys, they're the group that got me into kpop (my best friend of over 10 years basically forced me to watch shinee's hello baby season back in 2012 and I was hooked). Fun Fact! SHINee were basically babies when they debuted and (to my understanding) Taemin was one of the youngest to debut at the time, Taemin was 14 and Onew, who's the oldest, was only 18. (now it feels like all idols are debuting at like 12 I swear, I feel so old because there are so many idols younger than me and I'm only 21)
There are a few good guides, a personal favorite of mine is "a very shinee guide" because it's relatively short but is a good quick intro to each member and their talents. Another would be a "not so unhelpful guide to shinee" which I've seen others comment also.

Oh trust me. Shinee is able to do this routine full throttle and sing like that. You just ended up choosing a live of this song that they performed during the encore section of a 3-4h concert, so they are spent and in chill mode (as they usually are during encore performances).
But really I don't need to tell you this cause sooner or later during this series you will see them do it yourself - hardcore dancing + crazy vocals that is. ;-)

It was also the first music video & song that got me into them. They are such a great group & made a lot of songs that reminds me of music I listened to while growing up. All of the members are multitalented.

SHINee was the first group that got me into Kpop and why I stayed (I do enjoy other groups though). They're quite unique and have done SO many different kinds of music. They're all very genuine and nice guys. Taemin is my bias. Tbh, I love dancers and even pre-debut he was just...phemonial. Imo, hands down the best dancer in the business. Thank you UWU. I used to host my own radio show so I kinds of take that approach to it like an interview or music review since that's what I did on my show. Artist would send music and I would play it on the show and just give my honest opinion but I love music and it's hard to not like something especially if I can see the hard work. You started reacting to NCT so I thought you weren't gonna do SHINee, but you are! For guides there is A very SHINee guide which I like because it also talks about their music in general and it's one of the most recent, there's also a Not so unhelpful guide to SHINee which focuses only on the members if I remember correctly.
Although Taemin began his solo career first, actually Jonghyun, Key and Onew also have solo albums. For Jonghyun he actualy has a 5 albums and he also wrote a book. Key and Onew released their albums right before going to the army.
I really hope you will eventually react to Jonghyun's solo music because it's so diverse and idk how to say it but it feels so close to my heart, I think you will really appreciate it.

I’m new here and just want to say how I love the attention and care you put into each video you make! So detailed and respectful, I love it!
I've just discovered your channel because you're doing SHINee videos. Subscribed and notified. SHINee are my faves even over BTS and Ateez. In my not at all humble opinion, Jonghyun was the best singer in Kpop. And Taemin is the best dancer, despite the magnificence of EXO's Kai and the skills of BTS's Jimin. Ten and WinWin are also very fine dancers. Taemin, Kai, and Ten are now all three part of the new and maybe temporary group, SuperM. The other three members of SHINee are doing their required military service now, which is probably why Taemin is free to join SuperM.
All of SHINee are excellent singers and dancers. Such talents. I love em all. Jonghyun was and still is my ultimate bias. I'm lookin forward to seeing you discover them in depth.

Another info, while reacting to live performances be careful of music shows performances and Japanese songs if you're going to react to them because sometimes they get flagged, but concert videos are safe to react to & if you're going to react to music shows performances or Japanese songs to be safe just edit it them or speed up the video a bit
