I’m not dragging SHINee, but all the groups do that. It’s pretty standard 🤷🏻♀️. But then most groups will have their special tricks. So then pull ups. I think Weki Meki sings while planking…. But if you want to strengthen you lung power singing while running is a great way to do it. Either for singing or for cardiovascular endurance.
The thing I really appreciate about this choreo is the fact that they have a very jumpy chorus combined with very high notes. Like how?? Jumping and singing well at the same time is freaking hard so I really admire them for doing that.

They have some new songs out. As always their dancing is sharp and harmonies perfect. I think the only dance practice videos out of the new stuff so far is "Don't Call Me " and "Atlantis".
SHINee’s Dance Practices are.. well dance practices.. to run over the choreo.. so when they perform it energy is expected to multiply thousand folds. They are known for their LIVE performances. Everybody is “simple” but newer groups avoid covering it, if not only part of it. Esp. if they have to sing it live too.
In "Everybody" SHINee are supposed to be toy soldiers and they get their energy and power from the fans. So the fans use their energy to power the SHINee members up. The fans plug in the power which sends the electricity to the grid on the floor where the members are laying and it activates Key, which then sets off a chain reaction that proceeds to activate the rest of the members. All the moves and everything you see is supposed to remind you of how a toy soldier would look and move. Their fans power them up and that's why in the beginning they wake up from the floor and in the end they run out of energy and they disengage and fall back down to the floor to wait for the fans to come and power them back up again. In the middle of the performance, where they come together and create that picture in their dance, they are supposed to look like an airplane, that's why Onew spins his arms round really fast like the propeller of a plane. The plane has to do with the fact that they are soldiers and they are depicting a scene from a battle during the Korean War. Yet again, SHINee are trendsetters, Dubstep was a new style of music and sound when "Everybody" came out in 2013, and they introduced the genera to the Kpop industry. And combining that with popping, locking and robotics as part of the choreography was also new. One thing you should know about SHINee is, they have always been known for saving their energy for where it counts the most -- for live performances and for filming MVs -- dance practices for them are literally dance practices. They are less worried about being spot on exact, and more about showing everyone the feel of the choreography and the story behind the dance. (Fun fact: SHINee was the group that released Kpop's very first dance practice video for their song "Lucifer" in 2010, and they are the reason why Kpop groups create dance practice/performance videos today.) However, in their live performances you will see just how much of an expert they really are. Seeing as they are also singing live almost 100% of the time while performing for 3+ hours, you will notice moments where they conserves their energy, only to release it full out during the most intense parts of the dance or performance. If you think this live performance of "Everybody" was intense, just wait until you see a full concert. If you had watched this full set you would have seen that they performed a song right before this and they perform 1 or 2 more songs right after this that are just as high energy, and they sing live the whole time. And even at the end of the set, when they interact with the audience, they don't even sound out of breath or even the least bit tired. Pretty much the entire concert is nonstop just like this. SHINee are known for their live stages and amazing vocals and dancing. There is nothing better than SHINee live. SHINee live are unmatched. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. Yes, over the years they have become better at lip syncing then they used to be, but now they have gained the reputation as the group that always sings live, so unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, SHINee will always sing live. They have trained their entire career to be able to sing live and always sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography. SHINee set the standard. That is why they are so highly respected among their peers. It is literally referred to as the SHINee standard. It's the standard all other groups strive to reach.
I just want to correct (1) thing: There were dance practices before Lucifer, for example, they posted one for Replay and others, and other artists did the same. Lucifer popularised it because the dance was complicated and synchronised to another level, which was something not seen in boy groups (and even in a lot of girl groups). Other than that, everything is 👌
@@Aromantha Although, yes there was a dance practice for "Replay," and their might have been one or two others that were seen by the public at the time. "Lucifer" was the very first dance practice that was created to be distributed for fans to watch. Since the beginning of choreography, there has always been dance practice videos, but they have only been filmed for the artists and groups to view in order to help them learn the choreography and perfect their dance move, etc. But they weren't designed for the general public to see. However, if you look in the Kpop history books, you will see SHINee's "Lucifer" listed as the very first official dance practice video released to the public. SM does not consider SHINee's dance practice video for "Replay" as an official dance practice video because it wasn't originally created for fans. The "Replay" dance practice was released after the fact as part of a special video for a TV program about SHINee at the time.
I always enjoy your reactions! I hope you react to key’s new song “gasoline” dance practice..❤ I like to watch dance practices and key’s so precise and energetic in that dance practice!
SHINee is so good. You should do "Sherlock" and "Lucifer"! "Sherlock", I think, is still one of the most expensive choreographies that SM has paid for. And "Lucifer" is just clean as all hell.
Yes, it's Taemin = "super sharp". Taemin is meticulous. Key involved in stage outfits. Tokyo Dome Live performance especially the propeller choreo is the best. Thank you for your reaction.
I highly recommend you check out their Sherlock live performance from their SHINee World IV concert. It is absolutely insane! Promise it will blow your mind.
You should watch this video but speed x2. In a korean program called "Weekly idol" they danced this song in speed x2 and it was amazing !!! You can try !!
Taemin from Shinee is the smoothest dancer. May want to react to his dance practice and video for "Criminal". He also has a solo dance segment in "Don't call me "
I’ve been watching a bunch of all your reactions videos and it’s just incredible. Seriously your reactions and analysis are so good and complete. Thank you so much for all this content ! I don’t think anyone will ask you but I will try anyway. Can you please react to dance practice of Money by DAWN, he and his back dancers give a different vibe from what I usually see and I’d love to hear your opinion !! Keep going ✨
Not sure if you know, but SHINee is called CDNee not for nothing. They perform their songs like they eat their own CD. Plus, their live is usually better than their studio record. 😅 Even with their hard choreo, they can perform it with sharpness, synchronise and still singing it live and it sound stable. 😍
lets recognise the boldness on my part with stating that this is not the crown jewel of Testa's work. it sure as fuck got close tho. if it didnt seem like a was picking a fight already it will now cause i must clear up sherlock is not no1.
And they did this Everybody performance in the middle of a concert, after like almost 2 hours!!! They maybe not the best "dance" group because except for Taemin, who is exceptional, they are very good dancers but their strong suit are their voices and their stage presences. But they always give everything they have and for their newer songs they stepped up their choreos big time^^
you're probably not looking to stir controversy or anything but. they are totally a dance group. since the very beginning. i do apologise for not having the serenity of mind to mind my own business and leave you to your own but. *stares at you in Juliette* as in what do you mean their newer songs?????. Good Evening is unlike what is expected in the scene, do you mean that boldness is a step up? i'm just trying to understand where you're coming from
@@toaster19_32 They always did cool looking choreos like Lucifer and Sherlock and Dream Girl but i stand by what i said: their strong suit are their vocals! They are an SM group and they breed and pick the best vocalists. But when it comes to raw choreo groups like Ateez or Bangtan, who focus on dancing more than on vocals, just have the more complicated choreo. All of them are incredible live performers, they are all idols so thats mandatory. And yes, for DCM and CODE SHINee did do more modern and more complicated choreos than for Replay or View.
I have to disagree, as they've been quite known for their dances since debut. I feel like there's a common misconception that dances are only hard or complicated if they fit into the idol hiphop genre that we're used to, especially seen a lot with 4th gen groups. As someone who dances I can vouch that their choreos have always been pretty complex and difficult to execute well! Their newer choreos, especially Don't Call Me, are more reminiscent of the typical powerful idol hip hop if that's what you mean?
@@teefiiiiiiiies let them be, they're totally biased judging by the examples they gave and doesn't know the facts. SHINee are totally the best dancers ever and they're known for both dance and vocals.
I think Taemin’s jacket goes to Onew’s pants? 😂 I do love this song and choreography but it’s definitely their easiest. Their still a lot of movement so you’re breathing hard by the end. Especially if you’re singing.
I think it would be better if you used Music Show's Performance. Those have better camera angles and focuses on their moves unlike the concert that throws the camera on the crowd hehe. Love your reaction tho😁

You should watch this video but speed x2. In a korean program called "Weekly idol" they danced this song in speed x2 and it was amazing !!! You can try !!
SHINee are the best !!! Try a lot of their songs... You'll love them !!
I lost it at “dancing money” 😂

Everybody Tokyo dome 👋👋⚘💎👍👍!!!
17:00 "IT'S FUCKING MORTAL COMBAT NOW, BITCH, WATCH OUT FOR MY KICK" -- lee taemin, 2013
anyway ilu
Taemin from Shinee is the smoothest dancer. May want to react to his dance practice and video for "Criminal". He also has a solo dance segment in "Don't call me "
I’ve been watching a bunch of all your reactions videos and it’s just incredible. Seriously your reactions and analysis are so good and complete. Thank you so much for all this content !
I don’t think anyone will ask you but I will try anyway. Can you please react to dance practice of Money by DAWN, he and his back dancers give a different vibe from what I usually see and I’d love to hear your opinion !!
Keep going ✨
Shinee I didn know you react to the princes of kpop... Thanks for that...
This was choreographed by Tony Testa, who used to choreo for Michael Jackson.
Sherlock from Shinee it's even better!!! 💙
Shinee is like the avant-garde group of kpop lol.
YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS
Reaction for Don't Call Me please! Even though one of them became an angel in heaven, I wanna see how you react towards the difference.
YESSS! THAT'S TAEMIN!!!
Not sure if you know, but SHINee is called CDNee not for nothing. They perform their songs like they eat their own CD. Plus, their live is usually better than their studio record. 😅 Even with their hard choreo, they can perform it with sharpness, synchronise and still singing it live and it sound stable. 😍
The guy you said was "sharp" is taemin 😁
Everybody TOKYO DOME PLEASE !!
React to sherlock and dont call me 😁🤟
Did anyone tell him it was choreographed by Tony Testa?
lets recognise the boldness on my part with stating that this is not the crown jewel of Testa's work.
it sure as fuck got close tho. if it didnt seem like a was picking a fight already it will now cause i must clear up sherlock is not no1.
@Eliza T YESSSSSS MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY like wdym 'not the best dance group'? lol
@@teefiiiiiiiies let them be, they're totally biased judging by the examples they gave and doesn't know the facts. SHINee are totally the best dancers ever and they're known for both dance and vocals.
pls react to the boyz danger performance on road to kingdom its AMAZING
I think Taemin’s jacket goes to Onew’s pants? 😂 I do love this song and choreography but it’s definitely their easiest. Their still a lot of movement so you’re breathing hard by the end. Especially if you’re singing.
I think it would be better if you used Music Show's Performance. Those have better camera angles and focuses on their moves unlike the concert that throws the camera on the crowd hehe. Love your reaction tho😁
종현아..... ㅠㅜ
Hi! could you please react to Excalibur - Kingdom? (they are a rookie group), it's AMAZING, I'm not kidding, it's really epic
