Hello, great space! I recommend using dimmers on my light fixtures. If you’re using integrated LED fixtures you will have to verify that the dimmer is compatible.
Love it! It honestly feels way more to your taste, and I love how removing aspects actually elevated the overall look! 😊 feels like a breathe of fresh air now, versus before I didn’t know where to look!
I'm with you! Loves the before. I didn't mind the new rug and elevated plant look, though. Other than that, everything else could have stayed especially the light fixture 😩
As a Persian I have a hard time with American homes. I’m used to a center chandelier or just may light in the middle of the living room ceiling. Which will be turned on come evening when the Sun light doesn’t suffice or is no longer present. But here people close blind and curtains and have no living room light or they just don’t turn it on. They prefer the dark. I never understood that but I’m kinda getting used to it. I also didn’t realize that people watch movies in the dark here which is wild to me because we watch movies with the light on and if we want a big screen and the lights off then we go to the cinema. I just think it’s pretty cool how different groups of people do the things differently even if it is something mundane

I cant be the only one who thinks the after looks depressing and kinda creepy backroom vibes?? Like what's with the all white wall making it look like a cube prison, the artwork not very big making it look like its just... There... Not part of the table or the room. Not to mention the bar-like shadows coming from the lights? The dining table decor are beautiful but the wall and shadow coming from the lamp just aint it for me😂 (just my opinion and critique of this interior design tho, no need to take it to heart if you disagree).

Where did you get the wallpaper?
Just get different lightbulb that will work for the space and so you have the light level you want.
I can’t tell if it’s cozier or elevate but I can tell it is more clean and simpler. I like that!
