Introducing the Calf Hey Reservoir Walk, Haslingden, one of our favourite walks in #Lancashire
Calf Hey Reservoir featuring Musbury Heights is the latest walk we've decided to film for our #LancashireLads walks around Lancashire project!
Starting just off Grane Road #Haslingden with free parking down Calf Hey Road, this scenic walk offers a bit of everything, from old ruins and reservoirs to an abandoned quarry hidden away up on the fells.
Be prepared for a bit of BOG during the autumn / winter months, and be sure to follow our GPS map so not to miss any turns / hidden gems on our 5 mile trail...

Guys...following your excellent video and GPS route me and the missus walked the route yesterday.Luckily a dry day and the found abandoned quarry at Musbury heights.Keep up the great work and we shall be walking some more or your guided routes

Thanks for sharing this. I grew up nearby on Grane Road, and did that walk with my dog many times as a kid. It looks just the same as I remember it from 35 years ago..

@@LancashireLadWalks hiya, so I took my brother and river my greyhound to calf hey last weekend and it's absolutely beautiful, you could really be in the lakes it's gorgeous and it was a sunny day too. we walked right around the res which was quite an achievement for me as I had covid in February so I'm just building myself up but what a place to do that. Will definitely be trying the other resovoirs out and we're going to bold venture park in Darwen today x!
