Dear Rambling Bob, I liked Pecron too. Until my E1000 Pro had a bad "Low Voltage card" ? Works fine except when the Sun sets or a cloud passes by. Then the cooling fans Roar, like it's gonna take off, like a WWII B52 bomber. After fighting with Pecron for 3 months (through emails). They fessed up to the problem & will fix it for free (nice). But I have to pay to ship it (round trip) from the east coast to the west $$$ & insure it. Not a big fan anymore ! They also claim, not to have any affiliate's or affiliated repair shops out here, either. What can I do, with the cost of shipping, 1/2 of what I bought it for . Help me Bob ! Pls !
Sorry to hear that :( We never seen the E1000 or even tried that one, that was way before we bought our first pecron (e2000lfp) And never heard of a "low voltage card"....Maybe they mean the MPPT controller? I don't think any power station company have official repair shops out there. 95% of companies are all over seas today :( If you are handy with fixing stuff, they would ship you the MPPT board and you could swap it for free I bet. (Or get a friend to do it for you?) We always joked about starting a repair type shop to try to help many people with updating and repairing technology, but it is just a dream for us for now. If you have to ship it back to get it fixed, UPS is the cheapest way, make sure you tell them that there is a lithium Ion battery in that box, so they can put the proper safety sticker on it. (Max shipping cost should be no more that $100)

It lights up to charge in the sun. In the fall (up here) it's all SW to S sun exposure. My home is basically east west, by solar sunshine standards. But it's evenly split between back yard in the morning and front yard in the afternoon for 4-5 hrs ea. I have no southern side of the house property. With morning temps now in the 30's & 40's. I bought a 1500lfp back in the spring, and haven't used it a whole lot. Just recently, after finally getting rid of the box it shipped in, I decided to use it more, and it has started completely dying at about 50% battery. I was able to contact Pecron via email, and they advised me to ship it back to them for a fix. Any advice on who to ship with, UPS, USPS, FedEx? Also has anyone had to repackage a unit on their own to ship back? I need to get this done but it's so hard to find the time to track down packaging materials and find the best method of shipping. Any help is so appreciated.
UPS seems to be the cheapest at about $100 Note: You have to have to let them know that you are shipping a lithium iron battery so they can put a safety sticker on it. Note: Try your best to have 2 layers of cardboard and lots of packing stuff (you can use a lot of balled up old newspaper for extra support inside)

Update, got the power station shipped via UPS, and had them package it up. It was like $135 to ship it. Pecron had the power station for a little over 2.5 weeks and yesterday they let me know they are sending me a new power station, because they still hadn't been able to get mine repaired. I guess I'm ok with that. This new one I will have to really put to the test. And keep the box! 😂
