Very good content, congratulations, I think it was very important to talk about the compression ratio, because we can have many peripherals in our engine and have the original combustion ratio of 9.5:1 and this limit the increase in horsepower steam with fuel 98 RON

was always wondering the affect of tuning ignition coil dwell, would you have info on this? im on maestro 7 and have the maps dwell-voltage/dwell-load and max dwell
Hi Phil, just wanted to ask you, after a car has had a remap and down the line the battery failed, after replacing the battery would the remap be fine?
Hi Fletcher, aslong as there us no map switching going on from revo etc, then it can't be wiped. The ecu can't store a stock tune and an aftermarket tune on the same chip, only has room for the one, so it doesn't know what stock is, only knows the software that is on it!
Where does that second exist from the oil catch tank go? I've planned on using entry on the 90° pipe that comes from the top of the oil filter and the exit to the engine cover thing?
This info is amazing! QUESTION!!! How do I aquire the program you're using? I have an 01 Audi A4 with the 1.8T and it is turned but I want to change a few things. I put a China k03 turbo on it, about to upgrade to an unknown k04, but now gets like 26ish psi. Also part throttle yelds 10-15psi but no enrichment under 4K. Doesn't seem safe to me! I actually put on a MBC to turn the boost down! WG opens about 4psi, I actually put the actuator from the old turbo on the China turbo.
@@Phil-Cooper I don't think it can get much lower. The gate opens at 3 or 4 psi. I ran it straight from the turbo to the gate removing any external control.
@@ninoproductionsc1468 my k03s made the most loudest boosting noise like squealing pigs....weeeeee. I was assuming it was because of the 20 to 19 lbs. of boost,so it went all of a sudden,massive play with impeller. I Installed a eBay the eBay K04 and it makes no kind of squealing noise which honestly I kind of miss Do you think that was normal I mean it was really high pitched for years
No getting away from it, the 'digital revolution' has done so much for tuning..... fifty years ago tuning consisted of static timing the engine, setting the points gap , plug gaps and tappet clearances.... and fidling with the slow running mixture. Turbos were unheard of and the few cars that had petrol injection - by mechanical means - were totally unfathomable by anyone !

both the crank and valve cover vent out, in the video they both feed into one side of the catch can and the other side seems to be venting to open air

Did you try dropping the pre load on the actuator? I use winols to adjust the calibration.
