I would like to say thank you to all of the Y&T fans who have shown their unconditional support throughout the years since 1974 for a group that after 36 yrs. is still kicking ass and taking names last and it is because of each and all of YOU throughout the world! For the sake of rock and roll PLEASE keep the peace and just keep on rockin' FOREVER!
Such a good song!!!! Y&T is the most underrated rock band ever. Every song they have is as good or better than any rock song that has every hit #1 on the Billboard Top 100. Long live the mighty Y&T!!!!!
Got the Yesterday & Today album as a gift when it came out and I've bought all the albums since. One of the greatest rock bands ever that never did anything except what they wanted. Got to respect that. Dave is one of the best axemen ever
I remember the day Phil's wife responded to my drunken cry for the man on tube. I don't remember what I said but she thanks me for saying it. Must have been something emotional. And now Dave is the only one left.
I've always felt that Dave is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. Amazing player and a great singer. Y&T is easily one of my favorite rock bands.
Y&T is simply what real hard rock and roll is all about. 36 years under their belt and still putting out great rock tunes like this one. wow, this video shows the fire inside for what they do....still burning HOT ! great job Y&T...you guys are the best. GSM
Dave's always been one of the most underrated talents in Rock/Metal... Not to mention he could hold his own with any guitarist out there. Thanks for the decades of amazing music!!!!
This band has such an extensive catalog, I have never grown tired of them. One of the best bands from the US, ever. Watched them blow Crue off the stage in New Haven, CT
This is why I like Y&T. No frills straight forward driving rock. They never lost their sound. Just sorry they never got the recognition they deserve when hard rock was at its prime.
How the hell do 13 people not like this. Been following this band since I was a kid and now that Im a 40 something they still sound unfreaking believable!!!! Been fortunate enough to see them a few times in three diffrent decades and they always put on an excellent show weather they are playing for 100 people or an arena. they havent lost a step. I am a recent cancer survivor myself and I cant tell you how sad it makes me that Phill lost his battle. He will be missed!
Same here, I was at the Sellersville Theater show too. Great show and great band! So many great songs. It's borderline criminal that these guys never got the recognition that they deserve.
For all their dedication and the great music they've made in a career that will span 40 years as of 2012, these guys deserve much more recognition than they've received. Their Power Ballads like "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" are some of the best "makeout music" songs ever written. Single again at 45, I've made a three-disc compilation for my CD changer to play on the wall-mounted speakers in the bedroom on "hot date" nights and I'm sure at least 2/3 of the songs on those discs are by Y & T.
RIP Phil.. absolutely gutted. Coming from a 19 year old i seen you 5 years ago and every year since and was so shocked when phil couldnt make it this year
KIckass Y&T here, they've still got it and keep on rockin'!! First saw 'em in '80 in SF at the Old Waldorf, more than 25 times since. Love this band! Don 't know whay they never really made it though....
I also saw them yesterday night in Haarlem. I have seen a lot of concerts, but this one enters straight into my top 5 concerts ever. What a band, what a show, what a teamwork on stage! I am an instant fan!
1970borntorun Please, you punks don't know jack about class. We are in your face with what we did and had. Grow up and put your big boy pants on if you want to play with the adults.
Yogi Schmuggs You have such a great wit!! I'll bet they'll let you be the opening act at the next Tractor Pull near your Trailer Park if this keeps up!
Had the privilege of seen these guys at The Tivoli......Just WOW!! Meniketti is a guitar god🤘🏻 if he plays his wife Jill like he plays them strings.....she will be one happy lady. Looking forward to seen them again towards the end of the year. #YnTRock
One of my Favourite Bands of My Life !!! Dave and the YandTiers !!! Rest in Rock and Roll Heaven Phil Kennemore my Friend !!! Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Cheers and Life On !!!
Yes, sad that Leonard is gone, but Mike Vanderhule has brought the drums in Y &T to another level. Lenny might have beat the shit out of them, but Vanderhule gets dynamics out of the kit and chops that Haze never had. Steve Smith taught dude....pay attention to Mike. He is world class and in this band for a reason.
amazing to think these guys are still rocking, can't believe it was 32 years ago I saw them supporting AC/DC at Newcastle City Hall where the hell has the time gone ?one of the hardest working blue collar bands out there, a credit to Oaktown !
Phil, we love you. Part of your legacy is being a main driver in the greatest AND most underrated heavy rock band in history. Thank you for being such a difference maker in my life.....
I would imagine that this was probably Phil's last video before he passed. Phil was a great bass player but a better person! I'll never forget that guy! RIP brother.
I am a stagehand and have been for 30 years. I took a night off to go see Y and T in 2016 ( I have been a fan since 1982) I am still stunned by what I felt in the air that night. They are #1 on my list of bands to see. Dont miss your chance to see the great Dave Meniketti.
Dave always plays his ass off live! Saw them numerous times, back in the day, in the SF East Bay Area. Was able to see the band last year with Phil in Santa Cruz. RIP Phil; Keep On Rockin' Dave!
I saw these guys back in the early 80's, they were great. I always liked Meniketti's non-nonsense brand of Hard rock. Keep it up Dave, music keeps us young at heart
Y&T Forever! Saw them Live 3 times, still have the picture with me and phil from a couple years ago on my facebook, hope to see you guys live again when you pass through SoCal!
im a fan of Y&T since the first time I heard the song ' Forever' and I still listen to their song everyday till now. Hope you guys will stage a concert here in Kuala Lumpur. The last concert I went to was Whitesnake....2011.
@metallooney I can tell you that he fights every single day to have the strength to come back and play in front of the Y&T fans who have been nothing but unconditionally supportive during this extremely difficult time for fans and family alike. Thank you.,
I've gotta admit....I got a little choked up watching this. It's so great to see Y&T again! Welcome home, boys. You still sound amazing! I can't wait to hear the rest and hopefully see a tour.
Saw them at the Coach House in 2023 and it was everything I expected it to be. Kick ass little booth right by the stage. Great seats and an even greater performance! A night I will never forget! I was so caught up in the show I found myself drumming (banging) on the table so much that the vibrations were slowly knocking drinks off the table. Over the course of the night I was responsible for sending 3 glasses off the table. Fortunately none of them broke, and least they were empty :)
Y&T is the best. They survived the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's and are STILL KICKING TOTAL ASS!!! RIP PHIL!! ROCK ON DAVE, JOHN, BRAD AND MIKE!!!! Y&T FOREVER!!!!
Killer song. Sad that kids these days don't appreciate real musicians who play with conviction, understand hooks, harmonies, timing, delivery, and write their own music. Dave Menniketti is such an amazing voice/songsmith/guitar player. I'll take a sweat soaked, finger oiled rhythm and lead guitar with feedback over pro tools synthetic rubbish backed by Auto tune any day.
steve arbogast I happen to appreciate this music as much as any other person but I was not born in the time this music was extremely popular I was surrounded by it when I was younger PS I hate new music also I'm not a " I was born in the wrong generation" person
Depends on the parents. My 14 yo daughter had a hell of a musical journey last year, starting with Nirvana, to Velvet Underground, to the Doors, to Wheezer to the Doors. My 11 yo son is totally into Queen and Bowie.
I used to listen to them practice on my way home from elementary school in 1975-76 and Dave is still killing it and tomorrow night is the kick off show back here in the Bay area Y&Y Forever 🤘 If you Know you Know.
In a world of blast beats and growls this is a refreshing melodic kick in the ass! Y&T will FOREVER be a main staple in the rock world. In close to 40 years, this band continues the tradition of quality rock and roll and has proved that in 2010 you can still have melody and hook. Cheers Y&T...you have a product you can be proud of and in my humble opinion rivals the giants such as Mean Streak and Black Tiger!!!!!
Facemelter Rocks.!!! Im Comin Home ~ Raw , Hardrocking , and Vintage Y&T. Facemelting at its best and sure to be a hit record and well deserved. I wanna give a shout to all my Y&T forum friends ... you all know me as Born 2 Blast Y&T. 2010 is the year of Y&T so... LET`S ROCK IT.!!!
When Facemelter came out, Dave and Phil had a radio interview at THE BONE the day before the show in SF. Somebody from the radio crew told Phil he sat on the same chair that Dio had sat on his last interview, Phil was like...ho ho!, few months after he passed. I was in that interview along with very few others, next day I saw him playing for the last time two feet in front of me, this one reminds me of him. RIP Phil....I’m sure you are home now.
I agree with your comments. I grew in Hayward, CA. I saw Y&T play at my old MT Eden High School in Hayward in the mid 70s and watched them grow playing in Hayward at Frenchy's club on Mission Blvd when they were getting started, I saw them play dozens of times watching them grow as a hard rock band in the East Bay. Eventually playing at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco...nothing but great memories from Hayward. Now I live in PA and I miss Bay Area kick ass rock!
This is great. I have a question............Why do the people that I know who are in my age group, 73, think that it is wrong for me to enjoy ROCK music. After all we were the pioneering era for ROCK. Well I say screw them!!!!!!!!!! I love good ROCK such as this.
Y&T still kicks some major butts in actual rock scene! i saw them live in italy on june 13th, and they're in great shape. good old fashioned hard'n'heavy rock with a touch of blues. respect!
Y&T has consistently been kicking ass for 4 decades! Thanks for all the tunes and show memories.
Good grief, that was an awesome album.
I remember the day Phil's wife responded to my drunken cry for the man on tube. I don't remember what I said but she thanks me for saying it. Must have been something emotional. And now Dave is the only one left.
Can't believe Phil is gone. God bless you Phil! "This is where my heart is. Back home where I belong!"
I've always felt that Dave is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. Amazing player and a great singer. Y&T is easily one of my favorite rock bands.

One of the best rock/metal bands ever!!!
R.I.P. Phil ! The world has lost a GREAT performer ! Thank you for all the great shows !
This band has such an extensive catalog, I have never grown tired of them. One of the best bands from the US, ever. Watched them blow Crue off the stage in New Haven, CT
Two of the best concerts I ever saw growing up in Vegas: Y&T and April Wine
Great hit from Y&T. They came back again to their good old days.
Great Y&T song! I grew up in the Bay Area and saw these guys 40+ tmes. 18 times in 1 year alone.. It's hard for me to watch this video with Phil tho.
Never her this tune but Love Y&T and always have keep rockin'
Meniketti is a fucking legend. for over 40 years now he's been making that stringed piece of wood produce beautiful, harmonic sounds.
I've seen him play here in my home town a few times he kills it every time love him
Same here, I was at the Sellersville Theater show too. Great show and great band! So many great songs. It's borderline criminal that these guys never got the recognition that they deserve.
i seen them may 8th it was what i needed. it really was sweet we drove from Roseburg Oregon. best 12 hours i ever drove
For all their dedication and the great music they've made in a career that will span 40 years as of 2012, these guys deserve much more recognition than they've received. Yogi Schmuggs Thank you for proving yet again what an immature dip shit you are. How much do you save on rent living in your Trailer Park?
Typical moron flamer. Go back to your basement. Your mom said it was time to get off her computer.
#YnTRock

Killer song. Sad that kids these days don't appreciate real musicians who play with conviction, understand hooks, harmonies, timing, delivery, and write their own music. Dave Menniketti is such an amazing voice/songsmith/guitar player.

Grandes Y & T . MUY GRANDE Dave Meniketti ....
Y&T still kicks some major butts in actual rock scene!
