I think Carl had the best character development out of the Gallaghers,from a psychotic little kid to a gangster and then to a cop,and his scenes with Fiona were always my favorite.

He was able to mature and develop from seeing friends make mistakes and stand in business to helping out the other middle class people in goes neighborhood whilst messing with the uppity bougie people who moved in...

That house is why you never trust family, or anyone for that matter. Carl paid for the house, yet it got put in his sisters name due to age and still when times got tough the siblings wanted to sell the home and split their shares like they have any ownership. Carl's money, Carl's house
Lip was the only one who wanted to sell the house because he wanted to get a new house because his dumbass took a handshake from a random guy to live there, but guess what, he sold the house. Lip was the most annoying asshole trying to force everyone to sell the house because he was stupid. Tami even offered to live with their parents for a while after their house got taken away, but Lip ofc said no, that's his ego getting the best of him.
I completely forgot that.

That’s not how contracts work though. Maybe he could’ve taken her to court but the judge would’ve said “you paid cash for your older sister to sign her name on a contract to buy a house so you and your siblings have a roof over your head.” And then Fiona would say how much she’s paid and put into the house and the siblings and how she raised them when their parents fled. Also, carl isn’t an ass like Lip who was the one wanting to sell mostly. Carl had his own life too and they were older with jobs so, what would be the point of arguing not to sell IF it would help your other siblings. You either have no siblings or you’re very selfish due to being jaded by whatever your family did to you.
Yeaaa that never made sense to me at all like if it wasn’t for Carl putting down all the money in full so they can get the house back they would’ve been homeless possibly so knowing that Carl eventually saved the house how you gone ask this man for rent if anything yall should be paying him back
Which is why it’s so dumb that lip tries to sell the house, Carl OWNS that house lip has no right to it and all the Gallagher’s could’ve lived there or had a spare room
I dont think it was dumb they were all adults and they were all fine with selling the house except debbie
It would’ve been stupid to keep it, they were finally moving up in life and had the opportunity to live on their own while providing for themselves

Lip easily pissed me off the most this show. Oh what you got addicted to drugs? Your own issue. Who helped you through it though? Fiona. What happened when she was down?
