I love stopping by this gallery while on my trips to buy a pain au chocolat. They often have new and unique artists. I loved one which was mixing exotic insect taxidermy with watch parts. So unique. The manager is always very welcoming even if I am not an immediate buyer.
I have been to the gallery in Dubai. We where wearing sport shorts and a tshirt but the guiy was amazing. He was really pationate and took 30min to show us aroung. Amazing expernience!
I love rue Verdaine. Walked by so many times after lunch in 2022 and 2023 when I worked in Geneva, also the small Davidoff window with often many nice pieces.
Mb&f is the place where the history of contemporary watchmaking is being written. Mechanical horology lost its purpose of telling accurate time long ago, and imho should now be seen as a true form of expression, free from any functional and conventional limit. Same thing that happened with painting when photography took over.
