When I came across Luke’s podcast 10 years ago I couldn’t imagine where it would lead me in my life. I had been listening to the episodes primarily just for personal entertainment when suddenly I realised that my level is good enough to start my own teaching career😂 I quit my 9 to 5 job and embarked on this journey shivering from fear of standing in class in front of other curious people waiting for me to teach them new stuff. Now I’m experienced and yet still have moments of impostor’s syndrome. Living my dream life in a new beautiful country and enjoying freedom mostly thanks to Luke and his way of delivering facts and jokes. Probably Luke will never see this post but he has thousands of grateful listeners who can relate to the abovementioned. Thank you and keep it up!
Very well said indeed ! I also think Luke’s great talent and skill are linked to his ability in understanding people’s intricate emotions very effortlessly! One just grows not only as an English speaker but as a human being as well m, on this lovely platform ! Grateful for your thoughtful ways, Luke !
Hi Luke, i rarely write any comments. I've been listening to your podcast only for one year but my English skills are growing immensely. Big thanks for being interesting and genuine person!
Hey look, I've been listening to your podcast (mostly on castbox) since like, a year ago and you have helped me get a 8.5 in IELTS listening and learn about the U.K. and the English language and culture in general. I really love and enjoy your content. Love form Iran❤

You're a kind GIVER, Luke! You work so hard and always provide precious advice and listening practice. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I love listening to you and some people should know that your repeating ideas is GOOD for language learners. I do hope that you forget those sour comments and go on living and working happily. God bless you. Congrats on your UA-cam prize!!! ❤
The timer is a thoughtful touch and I had to say you are so nice and incredibly considerate to accommodate even most unreasonable request. You are just so nice.
Thank you Luke for your valuable work. I discovered your Podcast through a recommendation. You speak very clearly, I understand you quite well. I enjoy the way howe you communicate . I didn’t like British English bevor, but now I do. Pay attention to the positive comments that others simply ignore. ❤❤❤
Hi Luke, First of all, congratulations for your gold creator award ! You definitely deserve it. I love your long episodes, which is one of your specificities. It's easy to stop and continue listening later, and it's also easy to listen to your long episodes in one go, cause you make them interesting and I never get bored ! I improved my understanding skills a lot with you, I haven't practiced my English for years now, and I do need to update my English, which I do with your videos. So thanks a lot Luke ! Take care.
Hello, Luke, I am listening to this mega long episode for the second time. I've also listened to your last one. It's a pleasure to me to listen to such long episodes.
I've just given myself 100 points. I started listening to your podcast more than 11 years ago :P Makes me feel old actually!!! But one of the best decisions of my life.
Hi Luke, it’s nice to have celebrated with you on the day, and now I celebrate again the day you received the prize. It’s wonderful to have a friend who is an English teacher to be honored. I truly understand what it means to celebrate our achievements. Great, really great to be with you in these moments.
Dear Luke Nobody can please everyone. I am a language teacher and your podcasts are intriguing and of the highest quality. Continue the same way as you did up to now. Thank you so much for your precious work
Hi teacher Luke! I haven't yet got to the point of this episode where you talk about your 4 days in Rome! I am from Rome and a Lepster "since ever". Hope you enjoyed Rome and will visit again. Thanks as always for your priceless help that keeps my English up! Congratulations for the plate! Grazie! Alessandro.
Hello Luke, thanks for this new episode, I like to listen to you every now and then, telling nice stories with a friendly and beautiful voice. I saw you in Rome on Thursday 22nd February, surely you were recognized by Romans more than once! First I came across the two very blond ladies ahead, walking very fast and very busy talking to each other and then you, following with a pram. It was already dark, about six in the evening in Trastevere and I didn’t want you to be left behind, so I didn’t stop you. I still remember what it’s like to get lost with the rest of the family in a big city! Twenty years ago I got lost in Paris (in the Louvre!!) with a baby boy in the pram. I stopped for a moment at the toilet to change the baby’s diaper and when I went out half of the family (husband and an older daughter) has vanished!! The Louvre is a huge maze! I didn’t move from there but they had moved and weren’t able to find the place again. So, my seven years old daughter stayed at the museum reception where they made some announcements and my husband kept wandering around. At the time I hadn’t a mobile phone (and couldn’t speak any French) so I spent almost two hours waiting patiently and pushing the pram back and forth…
In 2018, I traveled to the northernmost part of Siberia to teach kids in a small village. With only around 100 residents, there was no reliable mobile or internet connection, sometimes leaving me unable to communicate with family and friends for days. Fortunately, the school had Wi-Fi (not the fastest, but at least it was available) intended strictly for teaching purposes. I sneakily downloaded your podcast to my flash drive. It became a source of entertainment for me during the polar nights of winter. Thank you for brightening up my days, no matter where I am. You're the best Luke!❤
Thanks, Luke for this as long as engaging episode. I'm a 67-year-old lady; now, at the end of your "lesson" I'm not able to explain my feeling. Unfortunately my Englis is not good enough! That's a reason of mine reason ( to be honest my main reason is completely different) I follow you! In my humble opinion, you are a GREAT !!! Great teacher, great dad, great husband, long story short, a great person!
Congratulations Luke~ Your Passion were given a big present for you.~ I always thanks for your lectures. so I will study english more harder. Thank you.

Hi Luke Your explanations about the length of the episodes totally make sense. I stop whenever I want to think about a word or a grammatical structure or I need to stop for any other reason. Autonomy and freedom for all listeners, jeah!!! And as for the beard, I quote Roald Dahl from his book "The Twits": "When a man grows hair all over his face it is impossible to tell what he really looks like...". And that's just his harmless introduction to the subject. I'm a newborn LEPster and am currently skipping through the episodes. I start each day with a continuation of your entertaining and informative episodes and have already hooked a few friends. Yesterday I listened to the episode about the birth of your son and was really touched. I would love to be a child in your family. Best wishes and a thousand thanks! Su

Hey again teacher Luke 👋 I just want to add something, while I'm listening 🎧 to this episode you've mentioned that you might cut this episode in parts and so on .... But I believe it's totally okay to keep it one long episode, in fact we shouldn't mind but on the contrary, we should be thankful! And yes, it might be challenging to listen to the whole thing on one go, but that's where the technology comes, just like teacher Luke explained! Actually, I don't have the luxury to watch attentively on UA-cam, however; i find it soothing and therapeutic to listen while doing house chores after a long day at work! Thank you for this long fascinating episode. Your podcast helps me to improve my listening and remember English words that i've learnt. I hope you will make more this kind of long episodes, because I like long episodes. Thank you ❤
I like long episodes! I am never bored with your podcasts. :) Of course sometimes I have to stop listening and come back to an episode another time, but that's no problem.
I love the long episodes, the rambles are just awesome and natural conversations with other people, that's the kind of language i find the most useful, i really enjoy the natural flow of English when you use it just to express yourself and discuss real-life situations, thanks a lot Luke, i've trully enjoyed your work over the years ❤
Hi Luke, Have been listening to your podcast for three years now and I‘m still enjoying it a lot. Whenever you are curious about checking out a Somatic Therapy approach to our nervous system I‘d be more than happy to show you what that is about. Hi, Luke! It's awesome to have another long episode! I love them! Please don't break them into parts. The more listening to your voice, the better for my English! You're fantastic! And I like you more with no beard)
Hey. You truly deserve that medal. I will be waiting for you platinum medal too. I can't register for your premium section because 😢😢😢😢😢 I'm from Iran and the sanctions. But as I hear your voice it makes me focus on English! You look much younger without beard about 10 years. Hope you had a great time in your family vacation. Much love from Iran ❤❤❤ Btw it'll be a great pleasure for me if you want to have a sunny vacation here to be your host. We have as much sun as you want here.
@LukesEnglishPodcast Another interesting episode from the best English teacher and podcaster in the world. I listened to the episode and transcribed it from start to finish. It took me more than three weeks to complete, but it was totally worth it.
I think you should warn your audience that listening to your podcast can be very dangerous. After just a couple of episodes I’ve got completely addicted and now I can’t stop. I love your short stories and I like so much your rambling episodes too, no matter how long they are. With your beautiful voice, your lovely British accent and your sense of humor you could read your shopping list and it would be interesting, amusing, useful and totally enjoyable From now on I will stop watching Netflix movies that I can’t completely understand, it so frustrating. I will listen to your podcast instead, so hopefully my old-fashioned-miss-Marple-English (I’m a big fan of Agatha Christie novels) will become more modern and more fluent. Thank so much for your great podcast, Luke.
Hi, Luke, I found the podcast really soon, looking for an appropriate one for improving my English. I'm very happy of that, but at the same time I'm a bit sorry I discovered it so late… I would like to watch so many episodes and even more (I mean the upcoming new ones). I hope I’ll have enough time as I found them very useful. Many thanks for your efforts and accuracy!

Hi Luke
Your explanations about the length of the episodes totally make sense.
So I listen on Castbox, and whenever I wish , I stop and then carry on again whenever it's convenient 😀
So yeah 😊
With love and peace from Algeria 🇩🇿❤
I've been one of your rambling episodes fans for years, but this time you spoke a lot faster, so I couldn't sleep well. 😉😅❤
You are doing a great job dude👍🏻

Hi Luke,
Have been listening to your podcast for three years now and I‘m still enjoying it a lot. Whenever you are curious about checking out a Somatic Therapy approach to our nervous system I‘d be more than happy to show you what that is about. For example exploring why negative comments still trigger us and how to get to a state we are so well connected to ourselves and eventually care less about somebody else’s opinion emotionwise…
You are doing good work. Period.
Greetings from Bavaria
Hello, too good for me :) I have no words and not only in English to say, how good it is... Thank you :)
I'm living in Brazil and this is the best English channel.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you for your job ❤❤❤
Hi, Luke, I found the podcast really soon, looking for an appropriate one for improving my English. I'm very happy of that, but at the same time I'm a bit sorry I discovered it so late… I would like to watch so many episodes and even more (I mean the upcoming new ones). I hope I’ll have enough time as I found them very useful. Many thanks for your efforts and accuracy!
Every topic is spoken in English so there is no problem 🙂
And the Pink Gorilla Story is still my all-time favourite episode
Amazing Sir😮
