I'm having a lot of success with this combo playing mid'koz, with ghost you can match roams, match tp from enemy laner and sidelane without constantly worrying about dying for free. Only thing different I do is get free boots for the extra mobility and build an aether wisp early after liandry's.

Minion Dematerializer. It's a rune. Oneshots a minion after a delay and gives you bonus damage against that minion in the future.

@@alex_theundead9282 You can get better by also playing normals. Playing ranked just shows you how much you can "climb". I was afraid of trying ranked before but it's nothing special, I must warn you that ranked isn't as fun for me because I try so hard to win and get mad when something goes wrong. I prefer to chill on normals with friends. If you want to get better the best way is to play and watch videos of master+ players

How come you don't like sorcs?
Sorc shoes (and mpen in general) aren't a priorty for vel'koz because he does such a large amount of true damage when played well. The haste from Ionian booties allows you to do true (and magic) damage more often, as opposed to doing more magic damage. A lot of Vel's self peel/kiteing ability comes from his e and q as well, which haste allows you to utilize more often.
If they have anyone that stacks MR sorcs are better, if they are mainly squishy sorcs are still best.
He has two builds. One with full magic penetration when enemies don’t build mr, and one with full ability haste when they do
