Wow! I was just looking at the way the railways used to be in and around Evesham & found this. Thank you so much for uploading this. The highlight for me is at the end; seeing the train travel along the river on Hampton side on the old Ashchurch line. Stunning scene. :-)
This takes me back, I used to go train spotting at Evesham, and sometimes took the train through to Worcester Shrub Hill. This video only shows the old GWR station, if you went out into the station yard, across the other side of the yard was the old LMS station.
fred grove 4mins 10sec shows the LMS line. The last 20 seconds or so shows one of the last trains to travel the Evesham to Ashchurch line as it passes the Hampton ferry on the other side of the river. Beautiful footage
If only it was like this now, wouldn't need to go anywhere else to see trains. Loved the end bit, would have loved to have seen that.

Thanks for the posting, brings back memories as we used to look over the evesham stations from our back garden so great to see it is as it was.

7027 had no idea she'd wind up sat at Barry for eons instead of going to the hot chop.
Wow just showed my dad if you look that's the knew signalbox he was there when it opened at 10 at night and returned next to work the box
See the man at 0.50 get off the train, put his hand in his pocket and realise he has left something behind and get back on the train
Letters incrusted on the screen spoil the viewing pleasure like a fly on a television set. A real shame as some great footage here. Why the fad?
Appreciate your point, but I have had UA-cam video pirated and shown on national television.
