Evesham Carnival 1965

Local village residents Melvyn & Ros Grinnell recorded this material over 50 years ago on 8mm cine film. They have kindly allowed me to share this rare footage on You-tube along with other local snippets I will be processing shortly.

I was there 55 years ago. In a governess cart. Unfortunately we didn't appear on this film. My memory of this day was how big some of the horses were, especially the brewery horses. Thank you for putting this online.
