People still played this game last year! I still play it to this year. This game itself is better than all the stuff Rockstar puts now, ngl
Yeah I still play every once in awhile on the PS3 I just haven't been playing it as much since I got a PS4🙂
@@carlsmustang97 Same. I really wish Rockstar went back to how they were in the PS3 era. Back when they wouldn't milk the shit out of microtransactions
Yeah Rockstar doesn't seem to realize that they could bring back games such as Midnight Club and Bully and make another Masterpiece such as GTA IV that they'll be a lot more popular than they are now and also at the end of the day make more money because a larger fan base🙂
@@carlsmustang97 All these companies that were good before (Bethesda and EA) are filling their games w/ microtransactions but if they go back to making games w/o that stupid word like you said, win-win. More money and more fans. But no, fans don't matter to these assholes
playing it for the first time ever this week
I've played this game literally since childhood and never took the time to learn this. Thank you so much man, this video is perfect for people like me who love to run the game at least once a year for old times sake! You my sir are an absolute goat for uploading this.
No problem.
It blew my mind also so I knew I had to put a video out there so everybody else could hear about it because I noticed a lot of people did not know about it
You actually helped me tame my Lamborghini!✨ Used to be addicted to donuts but now it corners like a dream
Yep this especially helps the all-wheel drives because if your tires are too wide you'll get too much grip and if they're too thin you get too much slip
@@carlsmustang97 I'll get my cars for free in No time 😁👍
thanks g this game is so much fun, crazy how no good games get released anymore, its all about making as much money as possible off of the consumer now
No problem.
Yeah today's games do not touch games from PS2 to PS3 that is the golden era of gaming especially racing games
This is actually nice video and it's helpful
Damn I should have seen this video by the first time it where recommended to me. Changed my life, thanks
No problem
i just bought the game again recently and been grinding it like crazy
The game is well worth the grind to me is still holds up as one of the best street racing games from the late 2000s that are out there today
@@carlsmustang97Amen to that! I think Midnight Club: Los Angeles is still an amazing racing game from the late 2000s (specifically from the year 2008) too.
Thanks man I finally was able to tame my camaro
No problem yeah I remember the Camaro used to be a bit of a pain in the butt it wasn't horrible but it was just enough to irritate you if you're really trying to push the car to its limits during a race
@@carlsmustang97 you are 0% wrong 'bout that
I can’t believe you found this great job
Yeah I surprised myself when I found out that the width of the tires actually does affect your handling and thank you
This is great bro!
I remember getting this game on best buy on a black Friday and booted up my Xbox just to do highway races and get a sweet Mercedes benz sl55 good times.
,,
The game has a lot of good memories for me also I still go back and play it every once in awhile my favorite race is the old Route 66 race and I forgot the name of the other race I really like
@@carlsmustang97 my favorite race during the career mode is called what women want mainly because of how the race starts off in Santa Monica through downtown and then back to Santa Monica again it's so long but I love bumping into her car just so I could listen to her funny dialog
I'm not quite sure but I think I've done that one before and if I remember right I think I was annoying her with my Saleen 302😅
Man i was stuggling a lot with this games, ive already given up two times, blaming the game bad handling, but now it works a lot better, i aleays know that yhis affected handling, but not that much, and since i feel bad to put such tiny tires on muscle cars i would never realize it, thank you very much
No problem.
Yeah it is hard to believe how much it affects handling which that's actually one of things I love about midnight club yes it has arcade handling but there's a few silm things tossed in
The games bad handling? Been playing too much NFS and Forza, bud?
I think what he was meaning is before he was setting the tires too wide or too thin which does affect the handling quite a bit but after he figured out where he was going wrong he realized the handling was much better than he thought
Thanks for the video, man.
No problem
Thanks for the help 🙂 👍!
No problem
I play the psp version on ppsspp. I put super tiny wheels and small tires on my old school Camaro, wider on the back and thinner on the front and it has amazing grip. I didn't have much luck with the Dodge Challenger RT though... I'll watch the video now and hope to learn something
I'm not sure if the PSP version works with the same physics due to it being on a different engine but what I show in the video should work
Just bought game. Played back in day. Microsoft store has sale so i used my points got it free. Classic game.
Yeah this game never gets old no matter how how old it actually gets it's one of those games that has always aged well physics-wise and gameplay wise.
I still have the game on PS3 but after the PS4 generation is officially done getting a Series X and getting Midnight Club L.A for it because I heard it runs at 1080p 60fps also online works now on Xbox series S|X & Xbox One
nice video 💎
I’ve played mcla for 10+ years and never knew about this.
Yeah surprise me too when I found it out in 2019 because I've been playing the game since early 2012 when I first figured out tire dimensions affect handling I knew I had to make a video about it
You telling I can get good at beating the of make tires wide and that a good I dea good looking out 💯👍🏾
Yep you can control the amount of traction you get just by adjusting the width of the tires it's just you don't want to make them too wide or too thin
@@carlsmustang97 bet
fantastic vid man. i only thought those options were for cosmetic value :/
That's the same way I was it until actually started tinkering with them the only thing that does not affect your performance is the size of your wheels not unless you try to make it a donk
I just bought the game grinding like hell
I was the same way when I first got the game I think I played it for a month before I jumped off and decided to take a break and place on my other games
Good video
Know it's been over a year but thanks man!
No problem when I figured out how much do tire width affects your handling I had to make a video to help out people🙂
I tried with the 69 Camaro I don't no if I missed a step or not but other then that the videos helpful
Yeah I thought it was crazy how Midnight Club actually captured the width of the tires affecting the handling of your car so once I figured it out I thought I'll be helpful to make a video about it
I honestly didn't know that the settings you shown in the Camaro and the other ones matter in this game with the handling.
Yeah it surprised me also because I was just messing around with the Tire width and I noticed that it was actually affecting the handling I think it also does it in Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition
@@carlsmustang97 you're probably correct. Tbh I never tried it. I always kept my tires as wide as they can get, the rims as big as I can get, and the height of the car as low as I can get. And I always tried to make the handling parts the highest the most important parts to get, but still get the other performance parts as well.
@@1martymcfly298 I used to just make the tires as wide as possible which then gave the cars too much grip😅
@@carlsmustang97 I'm going to start doing tests and also I'm going to start watching more of your videos.
@@1martymcfly298 so you basically use to customize your cars like a young child
I have two questions to ask you about these tips.
First question, should our cars have stock rims installed or custom rims installed for these tips to work properly?
And second question, are these tips 100% guaranteed to help improve the handling of all the cars in Midnight Club: Los Angeles besides the Ford SVT Focus, Chevrolet Camaro RS SS, and Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, or will these tips only work for particular cars in the game?
Answer to the 1st question: you could keep the factory wheels on it because you can customize factory wheels such as making them larger or wider depending on which direction you want to go.
Answer to the 2nd question: really the only way to improve handling is upgrades and of course the wheel Dimensions setup I showed in the video because that works on every car that's partly why I showed cars that were front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive so it basically covers all drivetrain and vehicle bases
@@carlsmustang97I tried out that wheel dimensions setup that you showed with the Ford SVT Focus on my Volkswagen Golf/GTI, and now it handles even better. Thanks, carlsmustang97. This video was very helpful.
I just started revisiting (I’ve already played Midnight Club: Los Angeles before back then on the Xbox 360) this game on my PlayStation 3 last Friday, and I’m absolutely surprised right now about how much of a difference is made in handling just from changing a car’s wheel dimensions in this game.
I can’t wait to try this out on rear-wheel drive cars and all-wheel drive cars later on as I continue to revisit Midnight Club: Los Angeles. Thanks again, carlsmustang97. I really appreciate the help. 👍
@@samariiowens7621 Thank you and No Problem
Still playing rn
Music is too 🔊 . Butt good video I Wana hear what you saying 🤠🤘.
Yeah this video the music was a little too loud but what's weird though is when I test it on my phone or tablet it's still a little too loud but you can hear my voice coming through it just fine🙂
What would be the best dimension settings for the wheels of my 2006 Gallardo Spyder?
If I remember right I think I kept the Gallardo with its original dimensions because the stock Dimensions are perfect but if you want to you could always make them 3MM wider front and rear that usually stock dimensions are good enough
@@carlsmustang97Got it. Thanks. It’s my favorite car in the game and I want it to be the best it can possibly be.
@@dartthexenomorph4865 No problem. Yep I know that I did the same thing with my Shelby Cobra Concept one of my favorite cars so I had it tuned to perfection
I put 275 on the front and 315's on the rear of my Corvette and it spins out every sharp turn whether i let go of the gas or hold it but i run big rims 22's or better on all my cars 🤣
275 for the front was just fine but 315 for the rear end was a little thin because stock C6 ZO6 runs 325-335.
Yeah back in the day on Midnight Club especially on Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix I was guilty of making wheels too big on cars they were not always 22s they were usually 20-21 and on SUVs 22-24😅
I know this video is old but if you’re still checking comments could you please tell me a good wheel set up for the Saleem 7? Thanks
I never had it on the game but I remember test driving it I would recommend trying 345mm on the rear if you're still having a problem with traction you can try 355mm on the rear.
Now if you're having a problem with too much traction you could always go back to the stock tire width.
The Saleen S7 was always a rowdy car in Midnight Club 3 but when they added the Twin Turbo version to Midnight Club LA it was even crazier
Can you tell me whats good for eclipse mitsubishi? Its cant -3 just -1 does that make big difference?
That will not affect it each cars has its own ride height some cars just naturally ride lower or higher than other ones
@@carlsmustang97 what about mazda rx7? Can you tell me how to make the handle more good? Because just one little turn it's turn into a drift feel like I'm driving a plastic car 💀
@andidaifamurtafi176 Only thing I could really suggest is wider tires maybe try 245 front and 275 rear because rotary engines are known acting like they have more horsepower than they actually have
@@carlsmustang97 thx I'm gonna try it
@andidaifamurtafi176 No problem
Which one should I do for the Lambo?
The Lamborghini is the same as the R34 GTR do to it also being a all-wheel drive
Will this work with any car? Bc the main car i use is the Saleen since it has the highest speed in the game
The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo you could keep with me stock Tire width but since the stock tire width is 335 which is kind of thin for a car with that much power you could always try 355 because the original Saleen S7 came with that
Same lol
if I apply this in midnight club 3 is it gonna be the same reault?
I don't think it be the exact same result because both the games run on different engines but it probably would change the handling some because Midnight Club 3 the Tire width also affects the handling but I'm not sure how much
do you also make tutorials for midnight club 3?
@viryadika9716 Sadly not right now but it could be possible in the future I just need to set up my PS2 I've also been trying to get a PC running to emulate it as well because I used to play Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix a lot still have a lot of my saved progress as well
aight thanks bro
@@viryadika9716 No problem
Hey
Yes?
What do I do for the RX8?
The RX8 is the same as the Camaro because it's also a rear-wheel drive
@@carlsmustang97 Ok thanks, man!
@@jackraider1039 No problem
@@carlsmustang97 do I do the same upgrade on the evo like you did for the R34?
@@jackraider1039 Yep
Bro i need money can you help me how to earned this money
I earned a lot of my money just spending a lot of hours doing the arcade races of course there's always the normal races and tournaments and the bat races also🙂
@@carlsmustang97 thx for the answer bro
No problem🙂
@@carlsmustang97 i sellet al My Cars...
@@carlsmustang97 yo I use to play back then when I was 7 to 8 I use to be a sweat was mh childhood game I play it now is handling good for your car for turning because it can mess up your turning right i forgot
I can’t stand the controls for this game they are way too delayed and slippery
I never really had a problem with delayed controls Midnight Club usually pretty pinpoint and I never had a problem with them being slippery either.
The only thing I could think is with the delayed part is maybe you need a new controller or maybe you need to adjust the sensitivity if it's possible and when it comes to the slippery part I think the tire width will fix that because that's a part of your traction
Nah, I don't notice anything
I don't see how it makes quite a bit of a difference especially on some of the lower end cars and classic muscle cars
Please no music or gane audio
I don't have the music too loud in this video🙂
It sound ok I think your speaker is greaty😂😂
@@basketballking1423 no
Yes cause it sounds just fine stupid
With the TDU2 videos it's hard to bounce the volume in between the music & the game because one car could be super quiet and one car could be loud Midnight Club I did a perfect job with bouncing the music with the audio of the game because I have no problem with admitting but sometimes with my TDU2 videos the music can be too loud but my Midnight Club videos & my GTA videos I balance volumes perfect🙂
